On Wisconsin's overall performance
"This is disappointing for our guys. We felt good coming in and we really didn't get things done in the second half. Anytime you give Ohio State points without their offense being on the field you're going to have problems. At this point it's important we know what we did today. I'm glad to be heading back home to Wisconsin"
On Ohio State's defense
"Their defense is just very good and they've got great depth on the defensive line. Anytime you're going four or five guys deep, it's going to be good."
On his team's chances to win
"I really felt we had the opportunity to win this game coming in here today. Even after seeing the outcome I still believe that. It's a minor setback for us and now we just have to respond."
On Wisconsin's turnovers
"The reason our offense has been so successful this year has been the turnover margin. Anytime we see Scott [Tolzien] getting pushed back like he was today it's not good. I know that on the first interception Scott got hit pretty hard as he was throwing."
On Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor
"Today we really wanted to get the edges on Pryor. We just wanted to keep him contained because when he gets a chance to get moving and be creative that's when he's the most dangerous."
On Wisconsin's defense
"Our defense played well out there today. Obviously we don't want to pat anybody on the back after a loss. We didn't get the turnovers like we needed. We have got to get scores when we're on the defensive side of the ball."
On Wisconsin's offensive game plan
"Once it got to be a two-score game in Ohio State's favor our offensive had to start grinding it out through the air. Our guys were doing good things out there but it got to the point where we just had to start airing it out."
