Narrowing his list to four schools - Maryland, Penn State, Wake Forest and Wisconsin - three-star offensive tackle Robby Havenstein decided that his first official visit was where he wanted to be, as he pledged his committed to Wisconsin Wednesday afternoon.
After two straight losses and losing a linebacker for the rest of the season, the University of Wisconsin
needed some good news.
They got that in the form of Maryland offensive tackle Robby Havenstein.
Havenstein picked UW over his other four favorites, Maryland, Penn State and Wake Forest on Wednesday to become the Badgers 16th verbal commitment, the second offensive tackle and the second from Maryland.
"The atmosphere there is awesome, the coaches are great and I was really impressed when I visited," Havenstein told Badger Nation first. "It's a first-rate school and handle everything real well and I am anxious for it."
