Last Meeting - Scott Gudmandson made 34 saves in a 6-0 shutout at the Kohl Center on Nov. 8, 2008. The Badgers won the night before by a 3-2 score.

These games mark the 143rd and 144th meetings between the two schools and the Badgers are 4-0-1 over the last five meetings, including victories in the last three contests

Two MTU players hail from Wisconsin, including leading scorer Brett Olson from Superior (6-8=14) and Elk Mound native Seth Soley

Junior defenseman Brendan Smith has his second five-game scoring streak of the season with three goals, five assists and eight points over the last five games. Smith opened the season with 2-7=9 in his first five games played.

Senior forward Blake Geoffrion (Brentwood, Tenn.) has four goals in his last five games, including goals in both games last weekend, and leads the Badgers with nine goals this season. That total is good for third in the WCHA, two behind Minnesota Duluth junior forward Justin Fontaine.
