Dekker Picks Up Big Ten Offer

Already holding an offer from Bradley, Milwaukee, Northern Iowa and Northern Illinois, Sheboygan Lutheran shooting forward Sam Dekker picked up his fifth offer, this one from the Big Ten.

MADISON - After consistently impressing onlookers since the start of the AAU circuit, Sam Dekker is starting to reap the benefits.

Picking up his first scholarship offer from Northern Illinois in mid May, Dekker hauled in his picked up his first Big Ten offer Monday when Wisconsin offered the 6-foot-6, 200-pound shooting forward after day one of UW's elite camp, according to Dekker's AAU Coach Ritchie Davis.

A skilled player that has been shooting lights off for the Wisconsin Playground Warriors, Dekker averaged 26.5 points, 9.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.9 steals per game during his sophomore year.
