Wyoming-CSU-Pueblo Photo Gallery

It won't go down as the Cowboys' best performance of the season, but we did catch the action on film. Check out our pictures of Wyoming's 73-66 win over Colorado State-Pueblo in this week's basketball gallery.

Brad Jones had another big night. After scoring a team-high 15 points against Regis in the Pokes' exhibition opener, he added a game-high 22 against the ThunderWolves on Tuesday.

He jockeys for position here as he drives to the hoop.

Showing some athleticism, he leaps over opponents for this shot.

Ewing also posted impressive numbers. He was aggressive going to the basket and totaled 17 points. Here, he jumps over a CSU-Pueblo defender for two points.

He sneaks past the opponent in this shot, getting the basket and the foul.

A number of players off the bench stepped up to help Wyoming grab the W. Joseph Taylor had a great defensive game, leading all players in blocks with three.

After grabbing a loose ball and being fouled, Bunker and Jones send their "thank-you's". (It seems the referee was impressed as well.)

As the score suggests, CSU-Pueblo gave the Cowboys a good game; they just weren't able to pull out the win. Their biggest star on the court was Ty McTyer who led the team with 17 points.

He also led the team in assists with six. Here he makes a nice dish to a fellow ThunderWolf who finished the play with a score. (By the way, can anyone tell me what a ThunderWolf is?)

Brian Sewald was also a bright spot for CSU-Pueblo. He was all over the court as he tied with Brad Jones to become the game-leader in rebounds with nine—seven of which were defensive.

Despite the individual efforts, it wasn't enough to oust the Pokes. It was a fun game to watch with several plays. Check in occasionally for more Wyoming basketball photo galleries here on CowboyBlitz.com as the season progresses.
