Xavier ranked 23rd in AP Poll

Xavier is back in the national polls this week.

The Xavier University men’s basketball team, 3-0 and fresh off a win on Friday at then-No. 24/25 Michigan, is back in the national polls. Xavier checks in at No. 23 in the Associated Press Poll, which was released today. XU is No. 29, fourth among “others receiving votes,” in the new USA Today Coaches Poll.

Xavier is back in the national polls for the first time this season and the first time since checking in at No. 22 in the final 2015 USA Today Coaches Poll.

Xavier hosts NKU tonight at 8:30 p.m. at Cintas Center. Then the Musketeers head to Florida for the Advocare Invitational Nov. 26-29 in Orlando. That field includes two other teams in the new AP Top 25, No. 17 Notre Dame and No. 20 Wichita State, and two others that are receiving votes, Iowa and Dayton.
