Myles Davis leaves Xavier

Myles Davis announced on Twitter Friday night that he is leaving Xavier.

After playing just three games since returning from suspension, Myles Davis is leaving Xavier.

The fifth-year senior posted a tweet Friday evening with a screenshot that read:

I would like to thank everyone and Xavier for allowing me to play basketball and get my degree but my family and I have decided that it is time for me to move on from Xavier and start a new chapter in my life. Want to say thank you to everyone who's supported me and believed in me. Wish my teammates the best of luck the rest of the season. Thank you

- Myles Davis

Davis averaged 11.3 minutes in three losses to Villanova, Butler, and Creighton after being reinstated from his indefinite suspension that started at the beginning of October. He was 0-for-8 from the field, including 0-for-6 from 3-point range in those three games. His only points came on a pair of free throws in the Butler game.
