BREAKING FANTASY NEWS
Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery has been a full participant in practice all week. He was dealing with a calf strain that lingered for about a full month but did manage to suit up Week 1. He clearly wasn't 100 percent, but he gave it a go and apparently suffered no setbacks. He is now well on his way to playing Week 2 and should be back to his WR1 ways.
This is great news for Jeffery owners. As we inched closer to Week 1, he was being drafted as late third-round pick in some drafts. That calf was scary and nobody trusted what the team was saying. It now appears that this calf injury is all but behind him and a big game could put it to be completely. If you have Jeffery it is now safe to plug him in your lineup and have no doubts about it.
