Bears QB Jay Cutler ruled out for Week 3

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has been ruled out for Week 3 with a hamstring injury. Head coach John Fox admits he was doubtful for this week but insinuates that he's more day to day than week to week. "He's going to travel with the team," said Fox. "I actually would've preferred to put him as doubtful. He threw the ball a little bit today. He doesn't have a torn ACL. He has a hamstring injury. It's kind of one day at a time to see how it improves. Mentally, he's been great. He's been a stud. He's been like he's been all year as far as his preparation. Everybody's all in to help Jimmy be the best he can be."

With Cutler out, Jimmy Clausen will be fed to the wolves. The Legion of Boom gets their muscle back with the return of Kam Chancellor this week. As bad as Cutler may be, he's infinitely better than Clausen. The Bears had little to no chance heading into Seattle with Cutler, you can cross out the little with Clausen under center. However, luckily they waited until Friday to officially rule out Cutler, that's sure to throw off what the Seahawks were planning to do. Now the Bears might lose by 35 instead of 42.
