BREAKING FANTASY NEWS
Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery was able to get a limited practice in on Wednesday. He sat out the past two weeks with a hamstring injury after dealing with a calf injury for just about all of camp. Jeffery is tentatively expect to return to action Week 4. This is definitely a situation to monitor leading up to Sunday but he should be considered more probable than not to suit up this week.
The Bears desperately need Jeffery back in the worst way. The offense is going to be terrible regardless, but he will certainly help. Unfortunately, he will more than likely have to deal with having Jimmy Clausen as his quarterback. While we expect Martellus Bennett to lead the Bears this week against a Raiders defense that has proven to be completely incapable of even slowing down tight ends. Still, Jeffery is a solid option. However, he's more of a WR2 until Cutler comes back.
