Tyreek Hill MIA WR
Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Not catching passes yet
20m agoDolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said Wednesday that Hill (wrist) is not ready to take part in catching drills at OTAs, C. Isaiah Smalls II of the Miami Herald reports.
Hill has undergone two surgeries on his left wrist this offseason, both to address an issue initially sustained during joint practices with the Commanders in August of 2024. Omar Kelly of the Miami Herald reports that the 31-year-old wideout is participating in most drills other than catching and blocking, while McDaniel has previously stated that the Dolphins are expecting Hill to return to full strength closer to training camp in July. Injuries and an offense focused more on short and intermediate throws to De'Von Achane and Jonnu Smith than downfield looks resulted in both Hill and Jaylen Waddle significantly regressing in 2024, sending both tumbling down 2025 fantasy draft boards. As long as Hill continues to not infrequently fall outside the top-12 drafted wide receivers he will carry undeniable upside, though there's serious risk that even with his wrist at full health he never again approaches production similar to the back-to-back 1,700-yard seasons he logged with Miami in 2022 and 2023.

Theo Johnson NYG TE
Giants' Theo Johnson: Ready for start of OTAs
41m agoJohnson (foot) is working with the Giant's first-team offense and new quarterback Russell Wilson at OTAs on Wednesday, Connor Hughes of SNY.tv reports.
New York officially kicked off OTAs on Tuesday, but reporters were not allowed in attendance until Wednesday's session, in which Paul Schwartz of the New York Post spotted the second-year tight end taking part in drills without any apparent issues. A 2024 fourth-round pick, Johnson quickly emerged as the Giants' top tight end in his rookie campaign following the offseason retirement of Darren Waller. He logged 29 catches for 331 yards and one score (43 targets) across 12 regular-season appearances before a Lisfranc injury forced him to spend the final five games on IR and undergo surgery. Now healthy, Johnson will work with new quarterbacks Wilson, Jameis Winston and Jaxson Dart to attempt to solidify himself as a reliable receiving option behind top wideout Malik Nabers (toe).

Chase Brown CIN RB
Bengals' Chase Brown: Working at OTAs
1h agoBrown (ankle) participated in Cincinnati's opening session of OTAs on Tuesday.
Brown appears back to full health after an ankle injury forced him to sit out the Bengals' regular-season finale against Pittsburgh. The 25-year-old running back is fresh off a Year 2 breakout in which he rushed 229 times for 990 yards (4.3 YPC) and seven scores while adding an impressive 54 catches (on 65 targets) for 360 yards and four touchdowns. Brown's 2024 performance is particularly impressive considering that as a rookie fifth-rounder in 2023, he logged just 44 carries for 179 yards. Cincinnati opted to keep Zack Moss (neck) around via a reworked deal rather than significantly add to the backfield in free agency beyond Samaje Perine, or in the 2025 NFL Draft other than sixth-rounder Tahj Brooks. Those decisions imply confidence from the team in Brown's ability to reprise a significant starting workload, a role that he's already proven an ability to translate into high-end fantasy upside.

Mason Rudolph PIT QB
Steelers' Mason Rudolph: Opens OTAs as No. 1 QB
1h agoRudolph operated as Pittsburgh's top quarterback during Tuesday's opening OTAs practice, Brooke Pryor of ESPN reports.
Rudolph spent the 2024 campaign in Tennessee before reuniting with the Steelers on a two-year, $7.5 million contract early in free agency, and he currently appears comfortable as the leader of a quarterback room that also houses rookie sixth-rounder Will Howard and former Dolphins third-stringer Skylar Thompson. While Rudolph boasts familiarity with coach Mike Tomlin and has played at a capable level with Pittsburgh in the past, he faces the challenge of adapting to a new scheme under offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, as well as building chemistry with new top wideout DK Metcalf, who was absent from Tuesday's practice. The Steelers remain linked to free agent Aaron Rodgers through rumor and speculation, but nothing official has yet materialized beyond the veteran having visited with the team in March.

Malik Nabers NYG WR
Giants' Malik Nabers: Nursing toe issue at OTAs
2h agoGiants head coach Brian Daboll said Nabers (toe) did not participate in OTAs on Wednesday due to an injury that dates back to college, Connor Hughes of SNY.tv reports.
Daboll specified that Nabers did not have any sort of offseason procedure and simply needs rest due to a toe issue he dealt with both in college and his rookie season, per Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com. The team will take it slow with the 2024 first-rounder, prioritizing his readiness for training camp. After compiling a 109-1,204-7 receiving line on a whopping 170 targets across his 15-game rookie season, Nabers' elite potential makes him a lock to be one of the first wideouts selected off the board in 2025 fantasy drafts. The fact that any or all of current starting favorite Russell Wilson, rookie first-round pick Jaxson Dart and veteran backup Jameis Winston could all see time under center for New York this season throws something of a wrench into the mix, but even a quarterback carrousel would represent an upgrade over Nabers' situation last year.

Dre Greenlaw DEN LB
Broncos' Dre Greenlaw: Out for OTAs
15h agoGreenlaw (quadriceps) isn't participating in Denver's OTAs, Luca Evans of The Denver Post reports.
Greenlaw signed with the Broncos in March but suffered a quadriceps strain a month later that will force him to miss the entirety of the team's OTAs. He is, however, on track to be healthy for training camp and will serve as one of the team's starting linebackers come the start of the regular season.

Ronel Blanco HOU SP
Astros' Ronel Blanco: Undergoing Tommy John surgery
2m agoAstros manager Joe Espada said Wednesday that Blanco (elbow) will undergo season-ending Tommy John surgery, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
The team announced that Blanco would be undergoing season-ending elbow surgery Wednesday but didn't supply the specifics regarding the procedure. It's now known that Blanco will require Tommy John surgery, which will likely force him to miss a significant portion of the 2026 campaign. Colton Gordon should hold down Blanco's spot in the rotation until the Astros get Luis Garcia (elbow) or Spencer Arrighetti (thumb) back from the injured list.
-
Michael Conforto LAD LF
Dodgers' Michael Conforto: Sitting versus lefty
11m agoConforto is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Guardians, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.
Conforto went 2-for-3 with a walk and a solo homer Tuesday in Cleveland but will sit Wednesday against southpaw Kolby Allard. The veteran outfielder has yet to get on track at the plate in 2025 and has a .172/.312/.287 slash line and 28.6 percent strikeout rate through 189 plate appearances.
-
Alex Cobb DET SP
Tigers' Alex Cobb: Starting rehab assignment
12m agoCobb (hip) is expected to begin a rehab assignment Thursday with High-A West Michigan, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
Cobb completed a bullpen session Monday and seems to be feeling good enough to see in-game action. The 37-year-old has been battling inflammation in his right hip since February, meaning his rehab assignment will likely require several starts. He's not expected back until late June.

Kristian Campbell BOS 2B
Red Sox's Kristian Campbell: Playing a game at 1B over weekend
16m agoManager Alex Cora said Wednesday that Campbell will play first base during one game of Boston's three-game series in Atlanta that starts Friday, Sean McAdam of MassLive.com reports.
The Red Sox have been searching for an answer at first base since Triston Casas (knee) suffered a season-ending injury in early May, and the search became even more dire a week later when Romy Gonzalez (quadriceps) hit the injured list. Campbell began taking first-base reps during pregame warmups shortly after Gonzalez's injury, and he'll get his first crack at in-game action this weekend. The 23-year-old rookie is slashing .225/.312/.354 in 202 plate appearances this season,

Mauricio Dubon HOU 2B
Astros' Mauricio Dubon: Getting breather
28m agoDubon is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the A's.
Dubon will get the afternoon off Wednesday after making six consecutive starts. In his place, Brendan Rodgers will fill in at second base and bat ninth.
-
Yainer Diaz HOU C
Astros' Yainer Diaz: Idle Wednesday
30m agoDiaz is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Athletics.
After catching back-to-back games, Diaz will cede to Victor Caratini behind the dish Wednesday. Diaz is slashing .232/.273/.362 in 187 plate appearances this season.

Obi Toppin IND PF
Pacers' Obi Toppin: Limited role continues
10h agoToppin amassed five points (2-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and two steals over 18 minutes during Tuesday's 130-121 win over the Knicks in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Toppin logged no more than 20 minutes for the fifth straight game, continuing to serve as a complementary piece for the Pacers. In 11 games over the past month, Toppin has averaged just 7.9 points and 3.4 rebounds in 16.3 minutes per game. The victory gives the Pacers a 3-1 lead over the Knicks, with the series now heading back to New York.
-
Aaron Nesmith IND SF
Pacers' Aaron Nesmith: Plays key role despite injury
10h agoNesmith accumulated 16 points (5-9 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, one assist and two steals across 32 minutes during Tuesday's 130-121 win over the Knicks in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Nesmith played through an ankle sprain suffered during the Game 3 loss, scoring in double digits for the fifth time in the past six games. He continues to play a key role on both ends of the floor, typically tasked with defending the opposition's primary assets. Through four games of the Eastern Conference Finals, Nesmith has averaged 16.5 points, 1.5 steals and 3.3 three-pointers in 32.5 minutes per contest.
-
Pascal Siakam IND PF
Pacers' Pascal Siakam: Another 30-point performance
10h agoSiakam ended with 30 points (11-21 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 35 minutes during Tuesday's 130-121 win over the Knicks in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Siakam scored at least 30 points for the second time in the past three games, helping the Pacers extend their lead in the Eastern Conference Finals. After a somewhat subdued series against the Cavaliers, Siakam has lifted his offensive output of late, averaging 25.8 points over the first four games against the Knicks. Indiana now holds a 3-1 lead with Game 5 slated for Thursday in New York.
-
Josh Hart NY SF
Knicks' Josh Hart: Double-doubles off bench
10h agoHart supplied 12 points (3-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 11 rebounds and one assist over 36 minutes before fouling out of Tuesday's 130-121 loss to Indiana in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Hart came off the bench for the second consecutive game, with head coach Tom Thibodeau opting to go with both Karl-Anthony Towns and Mitchell Robinson in the starting lineup. Although Hart was able to record his fifth double-double of the playoffs, his supporting numbers left a lot to be desired. Game 5 will be in New York on Thursday, with the Knicks needing a victory to extend the series.
-
Mikal Bridges NY SG
Knicks' Mikal Bridges: Modest performance in Game 4 loss
10h agoBridges chipped in 17 points (6-15 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds and two assists across 34 minutes during Tuesday's 130-121 loss to the Pacers in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Bridges scored at least 15 points for the fifth straight game, although his peripheral production was a little underwhelming. For the most part, Bridges has been a relatively consistent producer on both ends of the floor, averaging 15.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.5 combined steals and blocks over the past 13 games. Tuesday's loss now sees New York trailing Indiana 3-1, making Game 5 a non-negotiable for the Knicks.
-
OG Anunoby NY SF
Knicks' OG Anunoby: Drops 22 points, adds three steals
11h agoAnunoby chipped in 22 points (7-16 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 7-9 FT), four rebounds, one assist, two blocks and three steals over 40 minutes during Tuesday's 130-121 loss to Indiana in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Anunoby got it done on both ends of the floor, albeit in a losing effort. While Jalen Brunson typically garners all the attention, Anunoby has quietly put together a strong postseason, averaging 15.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.5 three-pointers and 3.0 combined steals and blocks in 13 games over the past month. Now trailing the Pacers 3-1, the series will head back to New York for what is a must-win game for the Knicks.

Sean Walker CAR D
Hurricanes' Sean Walker: Out again Wednesday
1h agoWalker (undisclosed) will remain sidelined against the Panthers in Game 5 on Wednesday, Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer reports.
Walker will be on the shelf for his third straight game due to his lingering undisclosed injury. With Jalen Chatfield (undisclosed) also missing out, the Canes will need to once again rely on Alexander Nikishin and Scott Morrow to fill out the blue line.
-
Jalen Chatfield CAR D
Hurricanes' Jalen Chatfield: Remains out Wednesday
1h agoChatfield (undisclosed) is set to miss Game 5 against the Panthers on Wednesday, per Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer.
It will be Chatfield's sixth straight game on the shelf. He has a goal, eight shots, nine hits and 11 blocks across nine playoff outings this year. Sean Walker (undisclosed) is also expected to remain out of the lineup Wednesday, which makes it likely that Scott Morrow and Alexander Nikishin will play.
-
Zach Hyman EDM C
Oilers' Zach Hyman: Headed for surgery
1h agoHyman (upper body) will undergo surgery Wednesday and will miss the remainder of the postseason, Jason Gregor of Sports 1440 Edmonton reports.
Hyman's postseason will end with the 32-year-old winger having generated five goals and six helpers in 15 outings. For now, there has been no indication whether this will impact the Toronto native's availability for the start of the 2025-26 campaign. Without Hyman in the lineup, Viktor Arvidsson could be pressed into a top-six role after having been a healthy scratch for five games.
-
Zach Hyman EDM C
Oilers' Zach Hyman: Ruled out for Thursday
2h agoHyman (upper body) will not be in action versus the Stars in Game 5 on Thursday, Jason Gregor of Sports 1440 Edmonton reports.
Hyman's availability for the rest of the Western Conference Finals is certainly in doubt after he suffered an upper-body injury in Game 4 on Tuesday. Without Hyman in the lineup, the Oilers may have to turn to Jeff Skinner for the first time since the opening game of the playoffs -- especially if Connor Brown (undisclosed) remains sidelined as well.
-
Mikael Granlund DAL C
Stars' Mikael Granlund: Snags power-play assist
11h agoGranlund recorded a power-play assist, two hits and two PIM in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Oilers in Game 4.
Granlund has earned three points over four games in this series, with all of his production coming on the power play. The 33-year-old is at 10 points, 29 shots on net, 37 hits, 16 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over 17 playoff outings. He was shuffled into a middle-six role Tuesday, but Granlund still plays an important two-way game as one of the Stars' most versatile forwards.
-
Thomas Harley DAL D
Stars' Thomas Harley: Picks up power-play assist
11h agoHarley logged a power-play assist and went minus-2 in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Oilers in Game 4.
Harley's strong first two rounds of the playoffs have given way to struggles in the Western Conference Finals. He's minus-4 with six PIM over four games versus the Oilers, and his helper Tuesday was his first point in the series. The 23-year-old blueliner has 12 points, a minus-9 rating, 30 shots on net, 36 blocked shots, 21 hits and 10 PIM through 17 playoff appearances.
