Donald Parham Jr. PIT TE
Steelers' Donald Parham: Suffers torn Achilles in OTAs
3h agoParham tore his Achilles during OTAs on Tuesday and will likely miss the 2025 season, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Parham signed with the Steelers in late February after spending most of last season on Denver's practice squad. The veteran tight end logged a career-high 27 catches for 285 yards and four touchdowns over 14 regular-season games with the Chargers in 2023 but hasn't appeared in an NFL contest since. He was slated to compete for a depth role with the Steelers behind starting TE Pat Friermuth, but Parham now isn't likely to take the field again until 2026.

Malik Knowles SF WR
49ers' Malik Knowles: Lands in Bay Area
3h agoKnowles signed a one-year contract with the 49ers on Tuesday.
Knowles entered the league by signing with Minnesota as an undrafted free agent in 2023. Since then he's also spent time with the Packers organization but has yet to see action in an NFL game. Knowles' signing came on the same day that the 49ers placed fellow wideout Trent Taylor (undisclosed) on injured reserve.

Trent Taylor SF WR
49ers' Trent Taylor: Lands on IR
4h agoThe 49ers placed Taylor (undisclosed) on injured reserve Tuesday.
Taylor signed a reserve/future contract with San Francisco in early January, but the move to IR means he'll likely be out for the entire 2025 campaign. It's not clear what type of injury the receiver is dealing with, though he wasn't expected to be a major part of the team's wideout corps this season. Taylor spent most of last year on San Francisco's practice squad and caught one pass for 11 yards across the two games he saw action in with the 49ers.

Trenton Irwin JAC WR
Jaguars' Trenton Irwin: Signs with Jacksonville
4h agoIrwin and the Jaguars agreed on a contract Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Irwin will head to Jacksonville after spending the 2024 campaign with the Bengals and Panthers, reeling in three of 10 targets for 15 yards over seven games with Cincinnati. The wide receiver will look to impress this summer in order to potentially snag an active roster spot with the Jaguars in 2025.
-
David White Jr. 2005 WR
David White: Let go by Jacksonville
4h agoWhite (knee) was waived by the Jaguars on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
White is still recovering from a torn ACL, which he suffered in June of 2024, and he will now potentially be looking for another opportunity elsewhere. The wide receiver has yet to make his professional debut after wrapping up his collegiate career with Western Carolina in 2023.
-
Trent Williams SF OT
49ers' Trent Williams: Active for OTAs
4h agoWilliams (ankle) has been an active participant at the 49ers' OTAs, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.
Williams ended the 2024 campaign on injured reserve with an ankle injury, but he's now a full go ahead of the 2025 season. The left tackle remains one of the best in the league and he'll once again be blocking on Brock Purdy's blindside this year in San Francisco.

Pete Crow-Armstrong CHC CF
Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Swipes two more bags Tuesday
1m agoCrow-Armstrong went 1-for-3 with two walks, a double and two runs scored in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Nationals. He also stole two bases.
That's now two straight games with multiple stolen bases for Crow-Armstrong, and he has five steals in his last three contests to get to 21 for the season through 60 games. The stolen bases alone make the 23-year-old valuable, but he also has 15 home runs and an .881 OPS, which has made him one of the top performers across all fantasy formats so far in 2025.

Michael Lorenzen KC SP
Royals' Michael Lorenzen: Coughs up season-high seven runs
2m agoLorenzen didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Cardinals after giving up seven runs on seven hits and one walk in 2.2 innings. He struck out two.
After getting knocked around for six runs on a career-worst 11 hits his last time out, Lorenzen coughed up a season-worst seven runs in his shortest outing of the year Tuesday. Four of his seven hits allowed went for extra bases, and the veteran right-hander matched his season low in punchouts. Despite having four quality starts to his name among 12 appearances in 2025, Lorenzen owns a poor 5.12 ERA and 1.46 WHIP over 65 innings. His next start is set to come against the lowly White Sox, which at least offers him a prime opportunity to rebound.
-
Michael Busch CHC 1B
Cubs' Michael Busch: Leads the charge Tuesday
11m agoBusch went 3-for-4 with a walk, a triple, a home run, an additional run scored and three RBI in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Nationals.
Busch was the only Chicago player with multiple hits as he powered the lineup from the No. 5 spot. The infielder is now riding a modest five-game hitting streak, and he's been good all season with nine home runs, 36 RBI and an .895 OPS through 56 games. The OPS would easily be a new career best for the 27-year-old.

Brant Hurter DET RP
Tigers' Brant Hurter: Pitches well but takes first loss
16m agoHurter (2-1) allowed an unearned run on a hit and a walk across two innings of relief and took the loss Tuesday against the White Sox. He struck out four.
Hurter was the second pitcher up in a bullpen game started by Beau Brieske. The former pitched well while setting a new season high in strikeouts, but he got no help defensively or offensively in the team's 8-1 defeat. Hurter has been lights out this year with a 1.72 ERA and 31 strikeouts across 31.1 innings, and he'll continue to be a key bullpen option for the Tigers.

Hunter Greene CIN SP
Reds' Hunter Greene: Pulled due to groin injury
1h agoManager Terry Francona said that Greene was pulled from his start during Tuesday's win over the Brewers due to a flare-up of his groin injury, Pat Brennan of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Greene managed to last five innings Tuesday, allowing two earned runs on five hits and three walks while striking out seven batters. He spent time on the injured list in May due to a groin strain, so the decision to pull him after 85 pitches was made in order to prevent him from further aggravating the injury. The 25-year-old righty will receive an MRI on Wednesday to determine if any serious damage was done. Until then, his status for his next start is unknown.
-
Chuckie Robinson LAD C
Dodgers' Chuckie Robinson: Pushed off 40-man
2h agoThe Dodgers designated Robinson for assignment Tuesday.
Just three days after being claimed off waivers from the Angels, Robinson will find himself on the waiver wire once again as the roster casualty necessary to clear 40-man space for Jose Urena. Robinson, 30, is slashing .272/.315/.388 through 112 plate appearances in Triple-A but owns just a .364 OPS in his MLB career.

Jarace Walker IND PF
Pacers' Jarace Walker: Out at least two games
2d agoWalker (ankle) will miss the first two games of the NBA Finals, Dustin Dopirak of the Indianapolis Star reports.
During his weekly radio interview with James Boyd and Kevin Bowen on 107.5 FM The Fan, Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said Walker will be out "a while." The NBA Finals are very spread out, however, which gives Walker more time for treatment and healing. He's averaged 9.8 minutes in the postseason, appearing in 12 out of 16 games. With Walker sidelined, a handful of those minutes could go to Obi Toppin.

Beauchamp began the campaign with the Bucks but was traded to the Clippers in February and subsequently waived in March. The rookie second-round pick began his career on a two-way contract with the Celtics, but he was waived in March and subsequently claimed by the Knicks. He never logged more than four minutes with New York. However, the 24-year-old forward averaged 12.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.0 steals across 29.9 minutes per game in 37 G League appearances with the Maine Celtics. The rookie second-rounder averaged 11.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.5 steals across 27.8 minutes per game in 13 appearances with Westchester. The two-way player is set to become a restricted free agent this offseason.

P.J. Tucker NY PF
Knicks' P.J. Tucker: Limited playing time in 2024-25
2d agoTucker finished the 2024-25 campaign with averages of 3.0 points and 2.7 rebounds across 19.3 minutes per game in three regular-season outings (one start).
Tucker signed two 10-day contracts with New York in March before landing a one-year deal with the club in April. The veteran forward made only one postseason appearance, and the Knicks hold a team option on his contract for next season. Should the 40-year-old choose to continue playing, he'll likely serve as sparsely deployed veteran depth considering his age.

Connor Brown EDM C
Oilers' Connor Brown: GTD for Wednesday
8h agoBrown (illness) will be a game-time decision for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals against the Panthers on Wednesday, according to Tom Gulitti of NHL.com.
Brown wasn't available for Tuesday's practice as a result of his illness. The Oilers are already without Zach Hyman (upper body), who underwent surgery last week. If they're forced to proceed without Brown as well, then Viktor Arvidsson will likely serve in a bottom-six capacity. Game 1 will take place in Edmonton.
-
Connor Brown EDM C
Oilers' Connor Brown: Under the weather
10h agoBrown missed practice Tuesday due to an illness, per Daniel Nugent-Bowman of The Athletic.
After dealing with an undisclosed injury and missing the last two contests against Dallas in the Western Conference Finals, Brown was deemed ready for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals against the Panthers on Wednesday, but his status is now up in the air. If the right-shot winger ends up being able to suit up for the series opener, Viktor Arvidsson could be a healthy scratch. Brown has generated five goals, eight points and a plus-3 rating over 14 appearances in the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
-
Roby Jarventie EDM RW

The 22-year-old forward appeared in only two games with AHL Bakersfield in 2024-25, registering a pair of helpers. Barring injuries, Jarventie will most likely remain with the Condors in 2025-26, as he has just seven games of NHL experience.

The Minnesota native's new contract runs through the 2028-29 season, though he did not receive any no-trade protection, per Kevin Kurz of The Athletic.
