I am not saying I don’t like these guys — I am saying that I like them much less than their value at the draft or auction.

BAL C Matt Wieters: He is already dealing with injury troubles and the season hasn’t started yet.

CIN 1B Joey Votto: When I saw that he went for $38 at Tout Wars, I laughed uncontrollably at the stupidity of that selection. Where are the RBIs coming from?

WAS 2B Daniel Murphy: I am happy that Murphy capitalized on a terrific post-season to get a big contract from the Nationals, but I think his huge offensive explosion was a bit of a mirage.

TAM 3B Evan Longoria: People seem to think when they draft him that he has 30 HR upside—he doesn’t. At best he hits 22 this year.

BOS SS Xander Bogaerts: He is the third SS going off the board in most drafts, and I have no idea why. He will hit fewer than 15 HR this year and has no speed.

NYM OF Yoenis Cespedes: Yes, he will flash at times, but he is the king of inconsistency. I like him way more in 5x5 roto leagues than I do in H2H.

ATL SP Julio Teheran: The bottom started to fall out on him last season. It continues this year to the tune of an ERA over 4.00.

TEX RP Shawn Tolleson: He will be the first closer to lose his job in 2016. Do not overpay.
