Yahoo: Top 30 Drivers

Yahoo / Fantasy Live / Fox: Quick Picks

Pocono Raceway hosts Sunday's Axalta "We Paint Winners" 400, and almost everything about the "Tricky Triangle" is unique. It the only track on the schedule that has different lengths for all three of its straightaways, and the three corners are each modeled after a different track, Trenton Speedway, The Milwaukee Mile, and Indianapolis Motor Speedway to be exact.

The track's unique layout makes finding a comfortable setup difficult for crew chiefs, and as a result, passing is very difficult for drivers. Throw in the relatively short distance, 160 laps, and it is going to take a different approach to build a successful lineup at DraftKings.

You can’t completely ignore the laps led and fastest laps categories like you can at a restrictor-plate race, but you can’t count on either category carrying your entire lineup either. Races at Pocono tend to revolve around fuel strategy, so don’t be surprised when a handful of different drivers all lead a chunk of laps as pit stops cycle through.

With that in mind, building a solid top-to-bottom lineup is probably better than punting a spot or two to load up on three high-priced options. You are going to need solid finishes out of all six of your drivers this weekend, and you need to try to capitalize as much as possible on place differential bonus points.

Don’t forget your final lineups locked in at DraftKings, and check out Sunday’s Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400 at Pocono Raceway Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET on FS1.

Building Blocks

Kevin Harvick ($10,400)

Harvick has had a car capable of winning each of the last three races at Pocono, and he has earned plenty of points in the laps led and fastest laps run categories during that stretch. He qualified fourth and ranked fifth in final practice, so all signs point to another strong showing from Harvick.
