Daily Dr. Roto — October 12, 2016
Waiver Wire Wednesday
Brian Hoyer — It looks like Hoyer will win the QB full time in Chicago. I like him, but his schedule starts to get harder beginning in Week 7.
Sam Bradford — Quietly, Bradford is becoming Fantasy relevant again. His weekly ceiling is low, but his floor is pretty high.
Colin Kaepernick — Kap is getting another shot to show that he can be a starter in the NFL. It could end miserably, or it could lead to another shot at the big time. My money's on him getting cut eventually.
Alex Smith — He is a bus driver, but the bus is on track for another possible playoff run. He won’t kill you if you need him.
Jacquizz Rodgers — I was shocked to see him run for 100 yards on Monday and get 30 carries, but he did. He will slide in as the RB 2 in Tampa behind Martin with upside for more.
Jalen Richard — He showed that he and not Washington is the lead back when Murray is out.
James Starks — A must-own for Lacy owners.
Matt Asiata — He is great around the goal line and can block too. He could be very useful if McKinnon gets injured.
Andre Ellington — He is one David Johnson injury away from a full-time job.
Mike Gillislee — He is one LeSean McCoy injury away from a full-time job.
Sammie Coates — He has surpassed Wheaton as the WR2 in Pittsburgh. A must get if available.
Cameron Meredith — He looked fantastic last week and could be in store for a huge second half.
Brandon LaFell — Don’t be fooled by those two late TDs; they were in garbage time, and Eifert should be back soon. But I do like him this week against his old New England buddies.
Dorial Green-Beckham — He is starting to look better and better. I like him more than Agholor moving forward.
Chris Conley — He is emerging as the true WR2 in Kansas City, but Alex Smith does not throw it a ton.
Tyreek Hill — More of a gadget guy than a star, but he does have upside especially in leagues that use return yards.
Justin Hunter/Marquise Goodwin — One of these two guys is going to be the WR2 in Buffalo. Goodwin has more speed, but Hunter might have more natural pass-catching ability.
Charles Clay — Seems to be clicking better with Tyrod as of late.
Will Tye — Dropped a big pass last week, but the Giants still like using the TE more than most teams.
