Scouting The NBA DFS - Saturday, November 5

#ScoutArmy member FantasyBum comes off the bench to deliver his NBA DFS picks for Saturday's slate of NBA action!

Here are a few things, first with NBA you have to keep an eye on who is playing. We do not always get word until last minute or later. Second, look for value plays(cheap players that may be getting the start for that day) . Third, I try and shoot for 300 points, 5-6X value(price of player*6) Example-Liilard is $9,600, he will need to score 48 FD points to meet value. If you are playing GPPs, you want to have at least one or two players that have a high ceiling and can potentially get you 6-10x value. Perfect example of this was Jones last night, he was $3900 and he put up 45.4 FD points(11.6 value). You also want to focus on games with fast pace(more possession, usage).

*Most of the info (salary, Fantasy Points per game) are geared towards FD, but the players I choose can be used in any.

Point Guards

Russell Westbrook - goes off tonight, fast paced game, going a against a rookie. He is averaging just shy of a triple double. Russ is The OKC team, he comes up and deliveres night after night. Expecting a trip/dub tonight, 30 points 10 boards 12 assists.

Kyrie Irving - has done well so far this year, hit over 30 FPs in every game so far. Phi is allowing 55 points to the PG position. There is definitely blow out potential, but I think Irving can still get 35+ FPs in 3 quarters. Safe play.

Jeff Teague - is getting the assist, grabbing a few boards. Scoring is where he is lacking at times. I see him scoring 15-20 points tonight, add that to what he is doing with other stats and he exceeds value. Rondo is not the same, and Teague should be able to gets the shots off on him. Nice GPP play.

Ish Smith - this is Ish’s game to break out in Det, Den is giving up 57 FOs to the PG position and Ish is here to take advantage of it. He is getting 30+ minutes, but over 7 assists, add 20 points and he gets you 6-7x value tonight.

Kris Dunn - OKC is giving up 56 FPs to PG, Dunn has been doing everything but scoring and making value. This is his opportunity to get 10+ points vs Westbrook who is not a good defender, 6-8 assists few boards and his normal 2+ steals.

Trey Burke - Most will be on Satoransky, but I think Burke is the one that gets the usage and excels with Wall out. At $3500 he only needs 16 FPs to get you value, he is a scorer and should easily 20+ FPs as long as he get 15-20 minutes. Monitor his situation. Great GPP play.
