Good afternoon my NHL DFS friends, I hope you had a profitable night last night in the world of NHL DFS. Today the schedule makers finally follow up a nice large slate with a nice 11 game slate. Early warning though, as for Monday there will be no NHL DFS games to play as the schedule makers only scheduled one game. So let us dive into tonight's action and get Five for Fighting.

Cappy's Cappers

Eric Staal  - Wing - ($5700 FD / $5300 DK) - Staal has been doing superb lately and turning into the leader the Wild need him to be. Staal and his Wild team head to Philadelphia for their eighth road game of the season. In his last ten games, Staal has four goals and six assists while averaging four shots on goal. The Flyers are currently the third worst team in the NHL in stopping a team's opposing center. I will have a lot of exposure tonight to Staal and his linemates, as I think he repeats his last performance of one goal and two assists.

Jimmy Vesey - Wing - ($4800 FD / $5500 DK) - Vesey and his Rangers head north of the border to take on the Calgary Flames, in what should be a high-scoring game. He has been a bit silent his last few games, which will push people away from him. This is the kind of game he can get back on the score sheet and have people talking about him again. He has a lot of pure talent and should score two goals and add an assist with six shots on net. His line or even his power play unit is in play tonight. Great GPP play and also cash game.

Vladislav Namestnikov - Wing - ($3400 FD / $3900 DK) - No one has gained more from Jonathan Drouin's injury then Namestnikov. Since being moved up to the top line with Stamkos and Kucherov, he has been shooting more and setting up goals. He will be low owned tonight, as the Lightning are playing a San Jose Sharks team that is playing a strong brand of defense. I am in love with his line this evening, and him out of all three. He will have two assists, one on the power play, and five shots on net. I could use him as a sleeper pick, but being on the Top line, he is not a sleeper. But watch the lines as it is possible that Drouin returns tonight, if that is the case, then use him as a sleeper.

Cappy's Super Sleeper

Matt Beleskey - Wing - ($4200 FD / $4000 DK) - All the sudden Beleskey started to show up on the score sheet, and is always near 2% or less owned in all formats. Matt is full of grit and talent but just has not put it all together. A recent one on one with coaches has helped him build confidence. In his last game, he has one goal and one assist, two shots on net and a blocked shot. The Bruins travel to Arizona to take on a Coyotes team that is making people wonder. Beleskey is averaging 15 min of ice time a game and will see that or more tonight. Look for him to score two goals, have two assists and four shots on net. He is a great GPP play, and even cash game to open up some cap space for you.

Games To Target

I will list a few teams you will want to consider when creating your lineups tonight. These game can be looked at for your core stack of players to build around. Due to personal time constraints, meaning I am leaving for the day in about 20 mins, I will just point out the games to target in your lineups and what to target in those games. I do apologize in advance, but will be back later this evening to help with lineup construction.

Pittsburgh Penguins - Target the top two lines from the pens tonight, and their top PP unit as well. Letang is a must if you are targeting them in GPP and using a full line stack.

Minnesota Wild - You will want Staal's line tonight, as well as their top power play unit. I love Suter on defense tonight as a stand alone if you decide to fade this game as a whole.

New York Rangers - All three of the Rangers lines are in play tonight. They should score in bunches and spread it out. McDonough on Defense is a great play with high upside.

Boston Bruins - It is hard to pinpoint where the scoring will come from, but the top two lines are a great play and the third line will be a cheap GPP line play. Carlo is a great punt on Defense if you are looking to save cap space for a player that sees 24 mins on the ice a night.

Tampa Bay Lightning - Watch their lines as they may change if Drouin is back. I love their top line as they have made me a ton of money, and their third line as a nice GPP play. Hedman is their best defensive guy, but Nesterov is a nice punt play as well.

Washington Capitals - There is no way I can fade this game or the Ovie line. Alex Ovechkin is on fire, and I am gonna ride it till he stops. The top line is in play in both cash and gpp. Defensive wise they are all average and a bit long in the tooth. So won't use any players on their defense.

**As always check before puck drop to see starting goalies, as things change**

*As of this post, no goalie has been confirmed. So I am picking based off of who I expect to start. Always check to see if your goalie is starting* I will just list the goalies I am using without info as to why cause my wife is starting to get mad at me. Happy Wife! Happy Life.
