So we have a solid 8 game slate tonight in the NHL.  I know this week has been good for most of us here on Scout, Cappy’s plays on Tuesday where just plain on FIRE!!!  I hope to continue the streak again tonight!  Good Luck and Lets Cash!!!

1. ST LOUIS BLUES – The Blues (16-10-4) will host the New Jersey Devils (12-10-6) tonight who are the only team St. Louis beat on their last four-game road trip. The Blues are 13th in the NHL in goals per game (2.7) and should be able to score plenty tonight since the Devils give up 2.89 goals per game. The Blues scored four times when they played in New Jersey and should be able to put at least that many in the Devils' net tonight.

2. TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS – The Maple Leafs (11-11-6) are in the middle of a 5-game home stand in which they have lost the first two games. Tonight they host the dreadful Arizona Coyotes (10-14-5) who are 2nd to last in goals given up with 3.1 goals per game. The Leafs have been very good at putting the puck in the back of the net as they average 2.89 goals a game which ranks them 8th in that category. I see this young Toronto team getting back to the basics on their way to a win. Look for them to score often as most teams have done this season against the Coyotes.

3. NEW YORK RANGERS – The Rangers (20-10-1) take their high octane offense ranked 2nd in the NHL with 3.42 goals a game to play the Dallas Stars (12-13-6). The Rangers, who could have all-world goalie Henrik Lundqvist, will get superstar forward Rick Nash back in the lineup tonight after a four-game absence. This will only add more fuel to the fire as the Stars are dead last in the NHL in goals against giving up 3.16 goals a game. If the Rangers were at home tonight they would be my number one team so make sure you have a few in your lineups tonight. And even though they are on the road, that hasn't been a problem for them, as they are 8-3 in their last 11 games away from home.
