Well, we have an extremely small slate of only two games. With a small slate, chalk is what it is. This will be a short write-up due to very few options on this slate.

Mr. Pucks Profound Three

I was asked if these are three players people should use. What I suggest is building around at least one of my three choices. Let us take a look at my top three.

Alexander Ovechkin  (Wash) @ Philadelphia - Wing - ($8800 FD / $8400 DK)

Projected First Line Wing

I told everyone that you would want to use Ovie in his next game as he is finding his stride. He has two goals and two assists in his last four games, and he will add to that tonight. The Flyers are in the bottom 10 when it comes to defending the wing position. Ovie will expose them to the tune of two goals and six shots.

Connor McDavid (Edm) @ Arizona - Center - ($8700 FD / $8600 DK)

Projected First Line Center

McDavid and his Oilers head to Arizona for what should be a cakewalk for them. The Coyotes are the worst team in the NHL when it comes to defending the Center position. McDavid has not scored a goal since the 8th of December,  and he will break through tonight. He will control this game and the offense with ease. I like him for A goal and two assists while taking five shots on goal.

Claude Giroux (Phi) -vs- Washington -Center- ($8000 FD / $7400 DK)

Projected First Line Center

In picking Giroux, I am expecting an old style slugfest game. The Flyers will throw everything at the Caps to keep the ice tilted in their favor. In his last five home games, Claude has two goals and four assists, and I see him getting a goal tonight, with four shots on net and two blocked shots.

Mr. Pucks Sleeper Play of the Night

Daniel Winnik (Wash) @ Philadelphia - Wing - ($3300 FD / $2800 DK)

Projected Fourth Line Wing

Winnik is your typical NHL journeymen, he is always in trade talks, and it seems every year he is on a new team. He is a vet that can move the puck and give his team a boost. I am not saying he will turn into a goal-scoring machine, but what he will do is save you cap space while giving you points. He will have two shots on net, and two blocked shots and possibly pitch in a goal.

Teams To Target

Washington Capitals - The Caps will come out firing on all cylinders, and this will benefit us all. Ovie and his line will provide a huge amount of offense. The second line will also be a good play. Niskanen and Orpik are my defensive plays due to their time in Pittsburgh and playing the Flyers in some tough games.

Edmonton Oilers - The Oilers should dispatch of the Coyotes easily, and the McDavid line is a must own. I also like their second and third lines. Klefbom and Sekera are my favorite defensive plays tonight.

Philadelphia Flyers - The Flyers are not going to just let the Caps have their way. They will attack, and this turns into shots. The top two lines are worth shots. Gostisbehere on defense.

Arizona Coyotes - No thank you, but if you must. I suppose Hanzal and Vrbata or Holland and Doan. Ekman-Larsson is the only other player I would consider.

**As always check before puck drop to see starting goalies, as things change**

I will list a few goalies and if you want them in cash, gpp, or both.

The only two I like are Talbot and Holtby in any format.
