** Criteria for Sit’em QBs are priced $6,100 or more on DraftKings (DK). Criteria for Sit’em WR/RB/TEs are players priced $4,600 or more on DK. Sit’em is designed to accommodate both DFS and season-long players.
Carr has not been the same since injuring his finger. Look for the Raiders to rely on the run vs. the Colts in Week 16. The Raiders will want to keep Luck off the field and control the line of scrimmage with their massive offensive line. Carr is more of a team player than a stats diva, so Carr won't mind taking the back seat to the running game. For $6,800 on DK, I like other options like Aaron Rodgers much better.
Another talented QB playing dinged up and on the road in Week 16 is Matthew Stafford. Stafford looked off with his accuracy, and some of his balls were sailing in Week 15 vs. the Giants. Also, the Lions’ skill players looked flat, and the play calling was nothing special. If Theo Riddick is out again, I advise sitting Stafford.
With playoff hopes dashed and an offensive line in shambles, avoid AD in Week 16 vs. the Packers. Green Bay’s defense is playing with increased confidence while Sam Bradford and his offense has sputtered. Peterson didn't look sharp in his first start back. He made the first cut fine but had little pop or jolt on his second cut or when attempting to breaking tackles.
I'm a big fan of Hyde, and he's been a consistent RB2, but I would caution Hyde this weekend vs. the Rams. Los Angeles defensive personnel will keep Kap and Hyde in check. Besides the 42 point barrage the Falcons put on the Rams in Week 14, the Rams have stifled visiting teams. DK finally caught up to Hyde pricing him correctly, but $5,800 is too high in Week 16. Hyde averages 11.6 PPG in road games vs. 21.1 in home games.
Marshall seems checked out of the the Jets offense, and Robby Anderson is currently the bigger threat with Bryce Petty at QB. Marshall has averaged 5.7 Fantasy points over his last three games and hasn't scored over 20 since Week 5. Ouch! The Patriots secondary will relish harassing Marshall.
Speaking of a player checked out, next on the list is Kelvin Benjamin. The former FSU star “sprint vs. marathon” approach to the season hasn't worked out so well. Benjamin has five receptions for 49 yards over his last three games. I have been watching Benjamin since his Florida State days and never seen him so disengaged on offense. He also seems to be battling some weight issues since returning from ACL surgery. Due to his $5,500 price point, look elsewhere.
Don't play Pryor with RG3 under center. It doesn’t help that Robert Griffin is also dealing with an injured finger. It was a nice run for Pryor this year, but the show is over. How in the world could you watch both Griffin and Cody Kessler play and go with Griffin? I'm a huge Hue Jackson fan but not sure what's he's thinking on this one.
My “Sit of the Week” is the No. 1 priced TE on DK, Jordan Reed. Spend your salary elsewhere in Week 16. Maybe still bitter for his Week 15 ejection that caused many of us DFS headaches, Reed is off his game. Reed played Week 15 noticeably hobbled and with no discipline. We all know Cousins loves the TE and Reed is a true talent, but something doesn’t smell right with him.
