Wild Card Preview

Oakland vs. Houston

Two Questions

1. Will Latavius Murray get the 20 carries he needs to help obfuscate the fact that the QB situation is a disaster with Connor Cook starting?

2. Will Brock Osweiler be able to connect with his wide receivers at all to keep the Raiders from stacking eight men in the box against Lamar Miller?

Prediction: Houston shocks people as Osweiler proves to be slightly better than Connor Cook. Lamar Miller’s return comes at the perfect time as Nick Novak kicks a FG to win the game 9-7.

Miami vs. Pittsburgh

Two Questions

1. Can Jay Ajayi continue his incredible running to keep the pressure off Matt Moore and allow Moore to find his receivers downfield?

2. Assuming the Dolphins double cover Antonio Brown, will Ben Roethlisberger find the second offensive weapon to help the passing game?

Prediction:

Ben’s incredible streak at home continues as the Steelers stop Ajayi and beat the Dolphins by a touchdown.

Detroit vs. Seattle

Two Questions:

1. Will Detroit’s awful defense against the TE haunt them as they go on the road to face Jimmy Graham?

2. Will Thomas Rawls finally help the Seahawks establish the running attack that seems to be missing ever since C.J. Prosise got injured?

Prediction:

Seattle’s home field advantage is too much for the Lions offense to overcome. Russell Wilson finds Jimmy Graham for 100 yards and a TD, and the Seahawks have a rematch against the Falcons in what was one of the top games from this season.

New York vs. Green Bay

Two Questions:

1. Will the Giants find another weapon besides Odell Beckham Jr. to exploit the weak Packers secondary? Additionally, will the Giants be able to run the football at all on the road?

2. Will Aaron Rodgers' injuries leave him as a sitting duck for the Giants dominating pass rush or does he have enough mobility to escape and finds his receivers?

Prediction:

The last two times the Giants lost to the Packers during the season they ended up beating them in the playoffs. History repeats itself as Eli Manning does just enough to get a win on the road and advance to a third game against the Cowboys.
