Yesterday didn't go fully according to plan. McDavid did well, but Lee and Pominville did badly. Most of my goalies hit, with Murray pitching a shutout. As I tell everyone if the person you take advice from can't admit to bad advice, follow someone else. On to today and our shorter four-game slate. I think we will be in for a treat and a lot of goals tonight, as we have a few lopsided matches. Let's kiss Valentine's day goodbye and welcome in hump day, with a win!

Mr. Pucks Profound Three
I was asked if these are three players people should use. What I suggest is, building around at least one of my three choices. Let us take a look at my top three.
Logan Couture(SJ) -Center- ($6900 FD / $6400 DK)
Couture is a player I would love on my team. His ability to rally his teammates and his ability to score makes him a true leader. Tonight, he and his Sharks host a Florida Panthers team that is bad on the road. The Panthers allow 2.70 goals per game and give up nearly 32 shots per game. Couture will thrive in this game as he averages over 2.5 shots per game. I fully expect him to add to his 38 points on the season with a goal and an assist while taking four shots and blocking another one. Currently the team's second line center, I expect his ownership to be small as well.
Cam Atkinson (CBJ) -Wing- ($7000 FD /$7300 DK)
This is one of those rare instances that a player is cheaper on FanDuel, it happens, and I'm taking advantage. Atkinson and his Blue Jackets host a Maple Leafs team currently on the second half of a back-to-back. With six goals and two assists in his last 10, Cam is nearly impossible to stop. In his short nine-game career against the Leafs, he has two goals and three assists with an average of just over two shots per game. It's within the realm of possibilities that he scores a hat trick tonight, but I'll be happy with a goal and two assists. I feel Columbus pours it on in this game.
Wayne Simmonds (Phi) -Wing- ($6800 FD / $6100 DK)
As much as I want to stab myself in the eye for saying this, I'll say it anyway. Tonight's a night you'll want the Flyers in your lineup. Simmonds has scored in back to back games, and the last time he did that he ended up going on a six-goal five-game scoring streak. He has four goals and eight assists while averaging over 2.5 shots per game in 19 career games against the Flames. In his last outing against the Flames, he had a goal an assist, three shots on goal and three blocked shots. Talk about bang for your dfs buck. I expect a repeat performance tonight.
