These last few days have been a hockey expert’s dream. No NBA, NFL, MLB, or other sports to fight against. NHL has taken center stage. Tonight we continue the DFS dance with a nine-game slate. Our goal is to build a solid lineup with as much upside as possible. I am going to help you to find some players to consider in building your core. So time to throw a hip check and knock our opponents to the ice.

Mr. Pucks Profound Three
I was asked if these are three players people should use. What I suggest is, building around at least one of my three choices. Let us take a look at my top three.
Sidney Crosby (Pit) -Center- ($8900 FD / $8500 DK)
What can we say about Crosby that hasn't already been said? Sid has been playing at an MVP pace thus far. In his last five games, he has two goals and three assists while averaging four shots per game. Tonight, he and his Pens head into Carolina for what should be a fun game. Sid averages 1.25 points per game in 36 career games against the Canes. I can see two goals, with an assist and three shots on goal.
Max Pacioretty (Mon) -Wing- ($7700 FD /$7500 DK)
Max should be the comeback player of the year. With three goals and four assists in his last five, Max is on pace to score 38 goals this season, which would be his second most in his career (39 in 13-14). Max gets to add to his total tonight in Madison Square Garden. Let's get ready to rumble, with Max scoring a goal and getting two assists while busting out six shots.
Patrick Laine (Wpg) -Center- ($7500 FD / $6600 DK)
This may be a popular pick today. I remember the last time Laine played the Leafs. He ended up with a hat trick and five shots on net. In Laine -v- Matthews 2, I see Laine getting two more goals off four shots. I believe this will be a high-scoring game, so consider that in your lineups.
Mr. Pucks’ Sleeper play of the night
Frans Nielsen (Det) -Wing- ($4700 FD / $4500 DK)
Frans gets to face his former team in the Islanders. After spending ten years with the Isles, Nielsen came to the Red Wings this year. I can see him welcoming his former team to his home ice with a goal and an assist tonight. Plus he should be low owned in any format. Like under 4%
Teams To Target
A few teams to target and build your lineups around.
Pittsburgh Penguins - I will be targeting the top line if Kunitz-Crosby-Guentzel in this game. The second line pairing of Malkin and Hornqvist will be a good one off, as will throwing Kessel into the mix. Letang and Cole on defense.
Carolina Hurricanes - Carolina should score a few against the Pens. Staal started his career and won a Cup with Pittsburgh. I'll have him and Aho in a few lines. Faulk and Skinner on defense.
Montreal Canadiens - I will be on the Pacioretty line in this game, as I think they provide all the offense. Love Markov and Weber on defense.
Los Angeles Kings - I will have exposure to the Carter line in this game. I think the combine for two goals and three assists. Muzzin will have his best game of the season.
Toronto Maple Leafs - Love the top line of Komarov-Kadri-Leivo tonight. Bozak and JVR will be a popular stack as well. Soshnikov will be a sneaky sleeper. Zaitsev and Reilly on defense.
Winnipeg Jets - Get Laine and his linemates in your lineup. Either of the top two lines should provide offense. Byfuglien on defense.
Also Consider - Min 1st, Chi 2nd, Edm 1st, TB 1st
