The 24-year-old defensive lineman has been reinstated after serving a one-year suspension for violating the league's gambling policy. Taylor has appeared in just one game and played 13 snaps across his NFL career, but he's now available to try and make his return to the field.

Berry was waived by the Colts shortly after receiving his one-year suspension for violating the NFL's gambling policy last offseason, but he's now been reinstated. During his two seasons in Indianapolis, the 27-year-old appeared in just eight games and recorded four total tackles. Now that he's been reinstated, Berry will attempt to make another roster this offseason.

Moore was suspended for violating the league's gambling policy last offseason, but he's now been reinstated by the NFL on Thursday. The 28-year-old appeared in 56 games from 2019-2022, racking up 48 total tackles while primarily contributing on special teams. Detroit parted ways with Moore shortly after his suspension, so he's free to sign with any team now that he's reinstated.

Chukwuma Okorafor NE OTPatriots' Chukwuma Okorafor: Likely starting in 2024
30m agoPatriots' director of scouting Eliot Wolf told reporters Thursday that Okorafor is currently the team's starting left tackle, Danny Jaillet of USA Today reports.
Okarafor spent the first six seasons of his career with the Steelers before getting picked up by the Patriots on Mar. 7. During his time in Pittsburgh, the 26-year-old appeared in 77 games and made 59 starts. New England could definitely still add tackle depth in the draft, but it seems as if the current plan is to have Okorafor start at left tackle in 2024.

After one year in Tennessee, the 2019 first-round pick has agreed to terms with the Packers. Dillard has appeared in 59 games across his NFL career, tallying 19 total starts. He's expected to compete for a depth role on Green Bay's offensive line over the course of the offseason.

Toney missed all of the Commanders' 2023 campaign after getting suspending for violating the NFL's gambling policy, but he's now been reinstated. Across his 26 appearances with Washington from 2021-2022, the 26-year-old defensive end recorded 16 total tackles, including 1.5 sacks. He's now expected to compete for a rotational role on the Commanders' defensive line as the offseason progresses.

25m agoO'Neill (concussion) will travel with the Red Sox to Pittsburgh this weekend and hopes to be activated when first eligible Tuesday, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.
O'Neill confirmed that he has a concussion as a result of his collision with Rafael Devers on Monday, but he's feeling better and is aiming for a minimum absence. It's too soon to count on that, of course, given the uncertain nature of concussions. O'Neill is third in baseball with seven home runs this season.

It was reported Wednesday that Stephenson would miss the remainder of the season, so it's not a surprise to hear that he needs surgery. The specific type of surgery hasn't been revealed, and it's possible it won't be until after the procedure occurs. If Stephenson needs Tommy John surgery, he could be out until around midseason of next year.

Alexander will take a seat for the series opener as the Giants bring ace right-hander Logan Webb to the hill. While the rookie still looks to be the Diamondbacks' preferred option at shortstop while Geraldo Perdomo (knee) is on the shelf, Alexander might have a shorter leash than anticipated while he's experienced some early hiccups defensively. Jace Peterson will cover shortstop Thursday.

1h agoImaging on Devers' left knee revealed a bone bruise Thursday, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.
Manager Alex Cora said Devers will be viewed as day-to-day going forward, and a trip to the injured list isn't expected. Devers was removed from Tuesday's game due to his injury and attempted to play through it Wednesday, but the results of his MRI will presumably keep him out of the lineup for multiple games. Pablo Reyes will start at third base Thursday and will likely continue to do so while the All-Star infielder is sidelined.

Quinn Priester PIT SPPirates' Quinn Priester: Expected to start Friday
1h agoPriester is expected to be recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis to start Friday against the Red Sox, Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Priester is off to a nice start this season with Indianapolis, holding a 3.95 ERA and 20:5 K:BB over 13.2 innings covering three starts. However, he really struggled in 2023 with the Pirates, posting a 7.74 ERA and 36:27 K:BB across 50 frames. It's possible he'll be needed for additional starts while Marco Gonzales (forearm) is out, but fantasy managers might be wise to take a wait-and-see approach with Priester.

1h agoPoche earned the save in Thursday's 2-1 win over Anaheim, working around a pair of hits while striking out one in the ninth inning.
After Pete Fairbanks threw 28 pitches Wednesday, the Rays turned to Poche in the ninth Thursday. The left-hander allowed a pair of base hits but ultimately coaxed a game-ending groundout from Brandon Drury, stranding the tying and go-ahead runs on base. It's the fifth-straight scoreless outing for Poche after he allowed four runs in his first three appearances this year. While Fairbanks and Jason Adam likely remain ahead of Poche in the ninth-inning pecking order, the 30-year-old southpaw could be in the mix for the occasional save going forward depending on matchups.

Alex Caruso CHI SGBulls' Alex Caruso: Likely to be game-time decision
28m agoCaruso (ankle), who is questionable for Friday's Play-In Game against the Heat, underwent further evaluation Thursday that revealed reduced swelling, creating increased optimism that he'll be available for the win-or-go-home matchup against Miami, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Wojnarowski reported Wednesday night that Caruso had sustained a "significant" left ankle sprain Wednesday against Atlanta that put his availability for Friday's matchup in doubt. However, the 30-year-old appears to be trending in the right direction and will likely be a game-time decision as the Bulls attempt to secure the No. 8 seed in the playoffs. If Caruso is unavailable against Miami, Javonte Green, Torrey Craig and Dalen Terry could see additional playing time.

Robinson missed the final four games of the regular season due to his back injury, and although he was available for Wednesday's Play-In Tournament matchup against the 76ers, he didn't see any playing time. It appears likely that he'll be able to suit up again Friday, and he could see some minutes since Jimmy Butler (knee) has been ruled out.

36m agoRozier (neck) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Bulls.
Rozier, who will miss a sixth straight contest, has been diagnosed with a neck sprain rather than neck spasms, so it seems the injury is more severe than initially expected. The loss of Rozier will be huge for the Heat, and it will translate in a higher usage rate for Tyler Herro, while there will be more minutes available for Patty Mills and possibly Delon Wright.

36m agoThe Heat announced Thursday that Butler has been diagnosed with a sprained MCL and will miss several weeks, Tim Reynolds of Associated Press reports.
Butler suffered his right knee injury late in the first quarter of Wednesday's Play-In Game loss to the 76ers, but he remained in the game down the stretch despite a limp. However, the injury is significant enough to sideline him for multiple weeks, so even if the Heat take down the Bulls on Friday, it seems unlikely that Butler will be in the mix to return during a first-round series against Boston. Jaime Jaquez will likely take on a starting role in Butler's absence, while Haywood Highsmith and Caleb Martin could also see additional playing time.

Since the All-Star break, the 27-year-old averaged 6.9 points, 1.6 rebounds and 0.7 assists on 45.8 percent from the field, playing valuable minutes during Trae Young's (finger) absence. With the Hawks looking to test the trade market around Young and possibly Dejounte Murray after a disappointing year, the Hawks will have until June 29 to decide whether they want Mathews back next season, which would fully guarantee his contract.

2h agoHunter posted eight points (3-16 FG, 0-7 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four assists and two rebounds over 42 minutes during Wednesday's 131-116 Play-In Game loss to the Bulls.
Despite struggling with his shot in April, when Hunter averaged 37.0 percent from the field and an abysmal 24.1 percent from deep, this season was fairly successful for the 26-year-old. Hunter was a consistent part of Atlanta's rotation, starting in 38 of his 57 appearances and averaging 15.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists while shooting a career-high 38.5 percent from deep.

Coleman has 29 goals and 52 points in 77 contests in 2023-24. He missed the Flames' previous four games due to the injury. Now that he's healthy, Coleman is projected to serve on the second line alongside Yegor Sharangovich and Mikael Backlund.

St. Ivany recorded an assist, two PIM, 30 hits and 14 blocks in 14 contests with Pittsburgh in 2023-24. He also has four goals, 15 points and 30 PIM in 53 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. With Pittsburgh's season over but the minor-league club slated to make the playoffs, this is an opportunity for St. Ivany to get in some extra work.

Zohorna has concluded the NHL campaign with four goals and seven points in 33 contests. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton is set to advance to the postseason, so the 27-year-old will help the club in that quest. Zohorna has nine goals and 25 points in 29 games with the minor-league squad.

Pittsburgh's season is over, but Wilkes-Barre/Scranton has secured a playoff berth. Puustinen recorded five goals and 20 points in 52 NHL outings this year. He also has five goals and 11 points in 23 appearances with the minor-league club.

Reilly Smith PIT RWPenguins' Reilly Smith: Struggling to score
1h agoSmith managed just one goal in his last 15 games while chipping in six assists.
Brought over from Vegas in the offseason, Smith struggled to reproduce his 2022-23 numbers when he racked up 26 goals and 30 helpers. The lack of productivity, combined with a $5 million cap hit, could see Smith on the trade block during the summer as the fit in Pittsburgh doesn't seem to be working.

Rasmus Ristolainen PHI DFlyers' Rasmus Ristolainen: Underwent surgery
1h agoRistolainen underwent surgery for a ruptured triceps tendon, the team announced Thursday. He is expected to be fine for the start of training camp.
Ristolainen didn't play past Feb. 10 due to the injury. He finished the campaign with a goal, four points, 56 hits and 45 blocks in 31 appearances in 2023-24. Although Ristolainen comes with a $5.1 million cap hit through 2026-27, he might start 2024-25 on the third pairing after averaging just 16:41 of ice time this season.
