Plays of the Day
Value: Ron Baker hasn't been great, but he's playing huge minutes and not too far above the minimum salary. The Wizards have struggled against point guards and Baker has played at least 37 minutes in three of the last four games. He doesn't need to do much to go 5X.
Fade: Dario Saric is still playing but is on a minutes limit of 24 the rest of the way. Ignore the price drop and avoid him.
- Orlando Magic (-2.5) hosting Brooklyn Nets (Over/Under = 225.5)
- Portland Trail Blazers (-6) hosting Minnesota Timberwolves (Over/Under = 219)
Isaiah Thomas (BOS) @ATL DK:$8,600/FD:$8,500
The game with the Hawks has a spread of two with an over/under of 209. The Celtics have a 2.5 game lead over the Raptors for the two seed in the Eastern Conference and trail the Cavaliers by one game for the top seed after losing to Cleveland last night. Thomas has a favorable matchup as the Hawks rank 24th against defending point guards. Thomas has at least 40.5 DK points in three of the last four games.
Elfrid Payton (ORL) vs. BRK DK:$7,700/FD:$7,400
Payton is part of the highest projected scoring game and the Magic are one of the worst teams at defending point guards. Payton is coming off one of his worst games in a while with 25.5 DK points against the Cavaliers but the game prior came against the Nets in which he had a triple-double with 56.25 DK points.
Ron Baker ($4000/$3600) is playing big minutes with Derrick Rose out for the season, but the ceiling is low. He has played at least 37 minutes in three of the last four games and has posted 15.25, 26.75, 15.75 and 25.5 DK points the last four games.
Matthew Dellavedova ($4000/$3500) also has a limited ceiling, but will get big minutes if Malcolm Brogdon remains out.
Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL) @ IND DK:$9,800/FD:$10,000
The Greek Freak is seeing a boost in assists with the absence of Malcolm Brogdon. He is coming off a disappointing game against the Thunder where the Bucks were blown out. He had 35 DK points in 24 minutes. Before that, he was rolling with 49.75, 64.5 and 74.25 DK points. He's worth spending up on tonight.
Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (PHI) vs. CHI DK:$5,600/FD:$4,800
He has played at least 32 minutes in five straight games, including at least 36 minutes in the last three. He had 34.75 DK points in his last game and at least 24.75 DK points in five straight.
Nik Stauskas ($4400/$3700) had at least 21.5 DK points in four straight games before only 16 in his last game against the Nets, but he played between 28-33 minutes in four straight games before the game against the Nets.
Evan Turner ($3700/$4000) has at least 20 DK points in three straight as his minutes have increased to the mid-20s.
Jimmy Butler (CHI) @ PHI DK:$9,700/FD:$9,900
Butler is playing huge minutes with the Bulls vying for a playoff spot and will continue to do so. Butler will be asked to do even more with Rajon Rondo ruled out with a wrist injury. Butler has played at least 38 minutes in nine of the last ten games. Butler has at least 53.25 DK points in four of the last six games.
Khris Middleton (MIL) @ IND DK:$5,900/FD:$6,000
Middleton's price is still low considering all the minutes he has played. The Bucks are still competing for a playoff spot and players in these types of games are good targets at this time of the season. Middleton only played 24 minutes in the last game, but that was a blowout loss to the Thunder. Middleton played at least 34 minutes in five straight games before that game.
Terrence Ross ($5100/$4300) has played at least 33 minutes in four straight games and has at least 24 FD points in five of the last seven games.
Carmelo Anthony ($6600/$6700) is difficult to trust right now since the Knicks have nothing to play for and the minutes are in question. Kristaps Porzingis is questionable and Anthony took 25 shots from the field on Tuesday with Porzingis out.
Aaron Gordon (ORL) vs. BKN: DK:$6,700/FD:$5,700
Gordon is coming off a dud against the Cavaliers. He will bounce back against the Nets, who are one of the worst defensive teams. Gordon faced the Nets on Saturday and went off with 22 points, 15 rebounds, five assists, four three-pointers and two steals for 55.25 DK points.
Gorgui Dieng (MIN) @ POR: DK:$6,100/FD:$5,600
Dieng usually plays minutes in the upper-30s and has at least 30 FD points in five of the last seven games. The Trail Blazers are weak inside and Dieng is a solid cash game play.
Thaddeus Young ($480/$4700) has been consistent over a recent stretch with at least 23 DK points in five straight, including three of at least 30 points.
Maurice Ndour ($3700/$3500) could see big minutes again if Kristaps Porzingis is out and he's listed as questionable. Ndour played 33 minutes against the Bulls on Tuesday and had 13 points and 12 rebounds for 36 DK points.
Karl-Anthony Towns (MIN) @ POR: DK:$10,200/FD:$10,200
Towns only played 28 minutes in his last game due to a blowout against the Warriors and still had 41.5 DK points. Before that game he played 39, 40, 41 and 41 minutes. He had 34 points and 12 rebounds the last time he faced Portland.
Brook Lopez (BRK) @ORL: DK:$7,000/FD:$7,100
Lopez played only 23 minutes in his last game against the 76ers due to the Nets building a huge lead and going to the reserves early. Lopez has been playing around 31 minutes per game lately as the Nets haven't indicated they will shut him down early. Lopez faced Orlando on Saturday and had 30 points and seven rebounds for 44.75 DK points.
Kyle O'Quinn ($4900/$4100) saw 27 minutes without Kristaps Porzingis last game and had 39.5 DK points. If the minutes are there, he produces.
Shawn Long ($4200/$3900) isn't playing big minutes, but he's producing when on the court. He has played 17, 18 and 22 minutes over the last three games and put up 28, 23.25, and 25 DK points.
