Plays of the Day
Value: There is already plenty of value out there and more could emerge as players are announced out. Alexis Ajinca is one of the better ones, especially on DK where you can play multiple centers. It's difficult not to play Karl-Anthony Towns on FD.
Fade: Dwight Howard has played 25 minutes or fewer in three straight games and the Hawks have already clinched a playoff berth with seeding the only thing they are playing for.
- Sacramento Kings (-3) hosting Phoenix Suns (Over/Under = 221)
- Los Angeles Lakers (-3) hosting New Orleans Pelicans (Over/Under = 218)
Tyler Ulis (PHX) @SAC DK:$6,800/FD:$6,400
Ulis is producing and playing huge minutes. Since taking over as the starting point guard, Ulis is averaging 15.4 points, 8.6 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.2 steals. Ulis has played at least 37 minutes in seven of the last eight games and the Kings are one of the worst defensive teams against points guards.
Ricky Rubio (MIN) vs. OKC DK:$7,900/FD:$7,700
Rubio is coming off a disappointing game in which he shot 1-for-10 against the Lakers and the price is high, but Russell Westbrook has already been ruled out and there's not too many players to spend on in this slate. Rubio has played 33, 37 and 39 minutes the last three games and if he's going to play that many minutes, he's in play.
Tyler Ennis ($4400/$4000) will be in line for an increase in minutes with D'Angelo Russell out. Ennis has 33 DK points against the Spurs in 39 minutes on April 5 and had 34 DK points against Minnesota in 23 minutes on Sunday.
Quinn Cook ($3000/$3700) has played 24 and 28 minutes the last two games and had 14.75 and 28.75 DK points and the latter came with Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins out and both will miss tonight.
Jordan Crawford (NO) @LAL DK:$5,000/FD:$3,700
Crawford is a much better play on FD, where the price never increases. He has at least 21 FD points in five of the last six games. He doesn't do much outside of scoring, but has played 30 minutes in consecutive games and should be hoisted around 15 shots from the field again. He has taken 16 in each of the last two games and Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins both will sit.
Nicholas Batum (CHA) @ATL DK:$7,700/FD:$6,600
Kemba Walker will miss the game and there's no indication that Batum will sit. He has at least 38.75 DK points in three straight games. Batum has taken 35 shots from the field the last two games and the high number of shots from the field should continue with no Walker.
Jeremy Lamb ($4100/$4400) only played 19 minutes last night and had 20 DK points, but should see more minutes with the starters potentially seeing less playing time on a back-to-back.
Nicholas Brussino ($3000/$3800) played 33 minutes in his last game and had 25.25 DK points and the Mavericks are resting a lot of players.
Andrew Wiggins (MIN) vs. OKC DK:$7,000/FD:$8,100
While many teams that are out of contention are resting their starters or limiting the minutes, the Timberwolves haven't done it. Wiggins has played at least 37 minutes in three straight games. He has taken at least 20 shots from the field in seven straight games.
T.J. Warren (PHX) @SAC DK:$6,700/FD:$6,500
Warren doesn't need to take many shots to have an impact in Fantasy. He only took eight shots from the field in his last game and had 34.75 DK points. He has been consistently productive outside of a recent dud against the Warriors. He will see more shots tonight with Devin Booker ruled out.
Garrett Temple ($3800/$4200) played 36 minutes in his last game and had 30.25 DK points.
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist ($4500/$4300) played the most minutes of the Hornets starters last night at 32 minutes with Kemba Walker out. He had 26.25 DK points.
Skal Labissiere (SAC) vs. PHX DK:$5,100/FD:$4,500
Labissiere has played at least 31 minutes in five of the last six games. He is coming off a 41 DK point game on Sunday against the Rockets and had 28.75 in the game before.
Nikola Jokic (DEN) @DAL DK:$9,500/FD:$9,900
The Nuggets have been eliminated from the playoffs and there's no indication that Jokic will be limited. Pay attention to the news closer to lineup lock to make sure. The Nuggets already ruled out Danilo Gallinari, Jameer Nelson, Kenneth Faried, and Will Barton. Jokic has shown he doesn't need big minutes to produce good Fantasy numbers.
Larry Nance ($5300/$4600) has at lest 28 FD in four straight games and at least 31.8 in three of them. Two of the games came against tough opponents in the Grizzlies and Spurs.
Cheick Diallo ($3000/$3500) had seven points and nine rebounds in 26 minutes against the Warriors on Saturday. The minutes will be there again with DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis out and the matchup is a stark contrast with the Lakers.
Karl-Anthony Towns (MIN) vs. OKC DK:$10,200/FD:$10,600
Towns is finishing with a flourish and the Timberwolves don't appear to be resting anyone. Towns is averaging 29.5 points and 13.2 rebounds in six games this month. He has at least 50 DK points in four of the last five games.
Enes Kanter (OKC) @MIN DK:$4,500/FD:$5,500
The Thunder have ruled out Russell Westbrook, Andre Roberson and Taj Gibson. Kanter hasn't topped 21 minutes in the last five games, but should be closer to 30 and can easily crush value with even minutes in the mid-20s.
Alexis Ajinca ($4100/$3700) played 28 minutes against Denver and had 27.25 DK points on Friday and 26 DK points in 29 minutes against the Warriors on Saturday. The minutes will be there with DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis out and a matchup against the Lakers is as good as it gets.
Dragan Bender ($3000/$3600) could see more minutes if Marquese Chriss is out. Bender played 35 minutes in his last game after Chriss left with injury and Bender had 26.5 DK points with nine points, eight rebounds and three assists.
