Daily Dr. Roto: Andrew Cashner? Never Again!

Dr. Roto is none too pleased with Texas Rangers SP Andrew Cashner, but The Night That Was provided a ton of great info moving forward for Fantasy Baseball owners.

Daily Dr. Roto—April 21, 2017

The Night That Was

— Phillies RP Hector Neris got the save last night. It’s only a matter of time before he is officially named the team’s closer.

— Red Sox SP Chris Sale was awesome in yesterday’s start, but don’t overlook Blue Jays SP Marco Estrada. He pitched very well too and could easily have won that game if he didn’t go against Sale.

— Strike up the band for Rays OF Steven Souza. He’s learned to cut down on his Ks and could be a nice add this week in FAAB.

— Astros RP Chris Devenski is a sneaky source of holds, Ks, WHIP, and K/IP. He is well worth adding this week.

— If Orioles OF Seth Smith goes on the 10-day DL look for Trey Mancini to get more playing time in the OF. Mancini is close to the ten games he needs to qualify at OF as it is.

— I cannot believe that Rangers SP Andrew Cashner ruined my night in DFS. Please do not trust him as he is a dumpster fire of a pitcher.

— Padres C Austin Hedges started the season out slowly but is beginning to turn it around. I still think he could end up hitting 20 home runs.
