AMERICAN LEAGUE

OF Jim Adduci, Detroit Tigers - He is out with a right oblique strain.

OF Abraham Almonte, Cleveland Indians - Almonte will be placed on the DL with a biceps injury.

C Welington Castillo, Baltimore Orioles - Castillo has right shoulder tendonitis and has started a rehab assignment.

2B Robinson Cano, Seattle Mariners - Cano has missed five straight games with a quad strain. He is expected to return to the lineup Tuesday.

SP Carlos Carrasco, Cleveland Indians - Carrasco left Monday's game early with left pectoral tightness.

RP Aroldis Chapman, New York Yankees - Chapman will miss one month with left shoulder inflammation. Delin Betances will close for the Yankees.

3B Josh Donaldson, Toronto Blue Jays - Donaldson could return by the weekend.

3B Yunel Escobar, Los Angeles Angels - Escobar will miss 2-4 weeks with a Grade 1 hamstring strain.

OF Carlos Gomez, Texas Rangers - Gomez will miss 4-6 weeks with a stained right hamstring.

OF Brandon Guyer, Cleveland Indians - Guyer will miss 4-6 weeks with a left wrist sprain.

SP Hisashi Iwakuma, Seattle Mariners - Iwakuma will miss 4-6 weeks with right shoulder inflammation. No need to hold him in most leagues.

SP Corey Kluber, Cleveland Indians - Kluber was placed on the DL with a back strain. He has started to throw on flat ground, but there's no target date for his return.

SP Ian Kennedy, Kansas City Royals - Kennedy is out with a hamstring injury and felt discomfort in a bullpen session on Saturday.

SP Francisco Liriano, Toronto Blue Jays - Liriano is out with left shoulder inflammation.

SP James Paxton, Seattle Mariners - Paxton is scheduled to throw a bullpen Wednesday or Thursday. The team hopes he returns the final week of May.

OF/1B Steve Pearce, Toronto Blue Jays - Pearce was placed on the 10-day DL with a right calf strain.

SP Drew Pomeranz, Boston Red Sox - Pomeranz left Sunday's game with left triceps tightness. It's an issue he had in the spring. An MRI showed nothing and he's been cleared for baseball activities and expected to make his next start.

SP Garrett Richards, Los Angeles Angels - The Angels announced Richards won't return until August at the earliest due to a right biceps strain. If you don't have a DL spot, he can be cut in most formats.

SP Tyson Ross, Texas Rangers - Ross is coming off thoracic outlet surgery and threw 45 pitches in extend spring training Saturday. He is slated to throw 60 pitches on Thursday.

SS Troy Tulowitzki, Toronto Blue Jays - Tulowitzki began a rehab assignment Monday going 1-for-3 with a run scored at High-A Dunedin and is expected to be activated Wednesday.

NATIONAL LEAGUE

SS Asdrubal Cabrera, New York Mets - The Mets have placed Cabrera on the DL with a left thumb injury.

OF Ryan Braun, Milwaukee Brewers - Braun was placed on the DL retroactive to May 11 with a left calf strain.

OF Yoenis Cespedes, New York Mets - Cespedes began a running program Monday and could be one week away if everything goes well.

SP Wei-Yin Chen, Miami Marlins - Chen had a setback after feeling pain in a bullpen session. He could get an MRI.

RP Jeurys Familia, New York Mets - Familia had surgery for a clot in his throwing arm and will miss 3-4 months and possibly the season. He can be dropped in most leagues without a DL spot for him.

2B Logan Forsythe, Los Angeles Dodgers - He is expected to begin a rehab assignment this week.

1B Adrian Gonzalez, Los Angeles Dodgers - Gonzalez was placed on the DL with right elbow soreness. It's the first time he is on the DL in his career and he will begin a rehab assignment Tuesday.

SP Junior Guerra, Milwaukee Brewers - Guerra began a rehab assignment Monday and pitched five innings at Double-A. He allowed five runs – two earned – six hits, three walks, and struck out four. He allowed three home runs and could return at the end of May.

SS Adeiny Hechavarria, Miami Marlins - He will miss 2-3 weeks with a left oblique strain.

OF Jason Heyward, Chicago Cubs - Heyward is sidelined with a sprained finger on his right hand. He is eligible to return Tuesday and manager Joe Maddon said he will return soon after he's eligible.

C Chris Iannetta, Arizona Diamondbacks - Iannetta was placed on the 7-day concussion DL after getting hit in the face by a pitch.

OF Travis Jankowski, San Diego Padres - A recent scan showed he has a fracture in his right foot and he will miss six more weeks.

SP Seth Lugo, New York Mets - He will begin a rehab assignment with High-A St. Lucie on Thursday.

SP Kenta Maeda, Los Angeles Dodgers - Maeda landed on the DL with a left hamstring injury the day after he pitched 8.1 innings.

SP Mark Melancon, San Francisco Giants - Melancon is out with a mild pronator strain and could return as soon as this week. He threw a 22-pitch bullpen session Monday.

SP Steven Matz, New York Mets - He will begin a rehab assignment with High-A St. Lucie on Thursday. He could return in early June.

SP Aaron Nola, Philadelphia Phillies - In his second rehab start, Nola went 6.1 scoreless innings and allowed two hits, one walk and struck out seven. He could return later in he week.

OF Hunter Pence, San Francisco Giants - Pence landed on the DL with a strained left hamstring.

OF Stephen Piscotty, St. Louis Cardinals - Piscotty will begin a rehab assignment Tuesday.

OF A.J. Pollock, Arizona Diamondbacks - Pollock was placed on the 10-day DL with a Grade 1 right groin strain. He had a left groin strain in the spring and last season. The Diamondbacks will be cautious with him.

3B Martin Prado, Miami Marlins - Prado was placed on the DL with a hamstring injury. It's the same injury that put him on the DL to begin the season.

INF Miguel Rojas, Miami Marlins - Rojas is on the 60-day DL with a fractured thumb. The cast is expected to come off in a week.

SS Trevor Story, Colorado Rockies - Story is out with a left shoulder strain.

OF Andrew Toles, Los Angeles Dodgers - Toles is out for the season with a torn ACL.
