NY Auto Show Truck Watch: Hyundai Santa Cruz

We went looking for the sickest new trucks at the 2015 New York International Auto Show. Next up? The futuristic Hyundai Santa Cruz Crossover Truck concept.

Simply put, this thing looks wicked. Though only a concept, the engine compartment of the Hyundai Santa Cruz Crossover wasn't empty. If put into production, it will be powered by an eco diesel 2.0-liter motor with 190 hp and 300 lb.-ft of torque that gets almost 40mpg.

Hyundai might not have the credentials of, say, Chevy or Toyota in the off-road department, but we have a feeling once some tuners get their hands on this (if it goes into production), it will be a seriously cool and capable contender. It’s the most radical take on a pickup truck we’ve seen in a very long time.
