Great Pairing: Wine and Golf

If you appreciate fine wine as much as great golf courses, you'll love this list of five courses amid the vineyards:

1.Chateau Élan Winery & Resort (Braselton, GA). A 3,200-acre complex, about a 40-minute drive from Atlanta, it has two public 18-hole championship courses, a par-3 nine-hole layout, European style spa and winery with wine tours and tastings, cooking school and elegant French restaurant.

2.Chehalem Glenn Golf Course (Newberg, OR). Set in the heart of Oregon's wine country about 30 minutes from Portland, this beautifully maintained public layout opened in 2005.

3.Course at Wente Vineyards (pictured) (Livermore, CA). Located about 50 miles east of San Francisco, this Greg Norman design plays through the vineyards and rolling hills at Wente Vineyards.

4.Renault Winery Resort & Golf (Egg Harbor City, NJ). A South Jersey complex featuring a winery, 50-room Tuscan-style hotel, gourmet dining and six-year-old golf course with views of the vineyards.
