Much has been said about the choice of players on each of the 2014 Ryder Cup teams, the chemistry, the rivalry, the history, the pressure, the “target” players, the whatever. But it comes down to the course and how well the players take to Gleneagles. There are different horses for different courses, and we’ll see how well the U.S. horses take to this course.

The Yanks are saying that Gleneagles is less like a British Open course and more like a U.S. Open course, which they are more familiar with.
