Another powerful week for Class 3A-4A in Alabama. Here are some of the best, the Stars of Alabama Week Two 2010.

Andre Kincey
Senior Running Back
5-11, 180 pounds
Abbeville High School

Solidifying Abbeville's surprise win over 5A Eufaula in the season opener, Abbeville came away with a 38-21 win over Luverne in the second week. Kincey rushed for 215 yards and scored two touchdowns on 2 and 38 yard runs. The secret is probably out now. The Abbeville team wears maroon helmets with the script A. They will visit Geneva this week.

Shawncey Simmons

5-9, 175 pounds
Clay County High School

The behemoth 3A Clay County managed to get by Beulah 46-0 with no small credit to Shawncey Simmons who scored four touchdowns in the win. The junior rushed for 121 yards including 38, 35 and 25 yard touchdowns. He passed for another 54 yards and returned a punt 55 yards for a touchdown. The undefeated Panthers will face the undefeated Green Wave of Leeds this week in what will surely feel like a playoff atmosphere in early September.

Greensboro High School

Morse rushed for 168 yards and scored two touchdowns in the 46-21 win over Montevallo. The senior returned a kick 84 yards for a touchdown to bring Greensboro their first region win of the season.

Ladarius McGhee

5-7, 140 pounds
Hale County

McGhee did it all for Hale County in their 51-22 win over Northside. The senior recorded 195 all-purpose yards scoring twice. He recovered two fumbles, picked off a pass and returned a punt 71 yards for a touchdown. Hale County is undefeated (2-0) in the young season and will play Sumter County (1-1) this week in an important region matchup.

5-8, 195 pounds
Shane McGinnis

5-7, 150 pounds
Leeds High School

The talented Forsythe rushed for 190 yards on just five carries scoring three touchdowns of 30, 76, and 71 yards in the 52-10 win over Marbury. In just two games Fortsythe is averaging just under 15 yards per carry. Purifoy and Forsythe are daunting for defenses. The latter rushed for 110 yards on 20 carries and scored on a 23-yard run.

If you thought those two were tough to handle add in McGinnis who completed nine of his 11 pass attempts for 100 yards including a 21-yard touchdown strike. The senior also rushed for a five-yard touchdown in the win over Marbury.

Tyler Dickerson
Senior Running Back/Defensive Back
5-10, 165 pounds
Plainveiw High School

Plainview has beaten Pisgah in the last 16 meetings including 2010. This year's battle featured Tyler Dickerson who rushed for 127 yards on nine carries scoring on 1 and 15 yard runs. The senior also returned a fumble 36 yards to Pisgah's eight yard-line in the 28-7 win.

5-9, 160 pounds
Sylvania High School

Davis had 231 return yards including a 71 yard punt return and a 75 yard kickoff return for touchdowns. He caught a 48 yard touchdown pass in the 49-28 win over Section. The junior tallied 310 all-purpose yards.

Wesley Epperson

5-9, 190 pounds
Paul "Andy" Pappanastos
Junior Kicker/Defensive Back
5-11, 160 pounds
Trinity Presbyterian School

The senior had a defensive masterpiece against Clarke County. Epperson made 15 tackles with three sacks and added a fumble recovery in the 23-6 win. Pappanastos scored nearly half of his team's points with his leg. The junior kicked three field goals of 45, 40, and 32 yards. He also made both his point-after attempts. Defensively, he made nine tackles and had an interception on defense.

T.J. Kidd
Sophomore Linebacker
5-9, 160 pounds
Devonta Parker
Senior Running Back
5-8, 145 pounds
Washington County

Kidd had 14 tackles in the 31-15 win over Excel and forced four fumbles. Parker rushed for 132 yards scoring three touchdowns in the win. Next up for Washington County is Trinity Presbyterian.

Quinnatta "Toot" Jones
Senior Running Back
6-1, 230 pounds
Weaver High School

Although Weaver lost on a field goal with 10 seconds remaining, nothing can diminish Toot Jones' performance. The senior rushed for 314 yards on 39 carries scoring four touchdowns in the 31-29 loss to White Plains.

David Winslett
Sophomore Quarterback
6-2, 175 pounds
Jay Coleman
Senior Wide Receiver
6-1, 185 pounds
Beauregard High School

Winslett completed 10-of-13 pass attempts for 171 yards and two touchdowns in the 52-20 upset win over ranked Calera. Coleman caught five passes for 120 yards and two touchdowns including a 44-yard touchdown in the win.

Kyle Caldwell
Senior Quarterback/Kicker
5-8, 150 pounds
Dadeville High School

Caldwell completed 13-of-17 passing attempts for 270 yards and two touchdowns of 40 and 32 yards. He also scored two rushing touchdowns of nine and 22 yards in the 41-7 win over Childersburg. Caldwell also converted the point-after attempts.

Hunter Kennamer
Junior Kicker
5-8, 145 pounds
Guntersville High School

Guntersville opened their season with two tough opponents in Boaz and Crossville. They came away with a 1-1 record defeating Crossville 20-17 in the second week with the help of Kennamer's leg. The junior kicked two field goals including the 35-yard game winner as time expired. This was the first meeting of these two teams since 1945.

Jaquille Ellis
Sophomore Running Back
5-8, 150 pounds
Holtville High School

Ellis rushed for 212 yards in his team's offensive tug-of-war with Munford. He carried the ball 10 times and scored four touchdowns of 85, 43, 15 and 11 yards in the 56-41 win.

Jim Furlow
Junior Running Back
5-7, 185 pounds
Oak Grove High School

Furlow was a workhouse in the win over Midfield. The junior carried the ball 32 times for 255 yards and scored three touchdowns in the 30-6 victory.

Sequoah Humes
Senior Running Back
5-10, 190 pounds
St. Clair County High School

Humes rushed for 138 yards on 18 carries scoring three times on 4, 10 and 3 yard runs in the 49-28 win over Springville. St. Clair County scored 49 points in each of their first two games. They play Locust Fork this week.

Chris Dukes
Senior Running Back
5-9, 185 pounds
UMS-Wright School

Dukes, one of the most talented running backs in the state, proved it yet again with a 123-yard performance on only 10 carries. He scored on touchdown runs of 15, 2, 35 and 5 yards in the 47-0 win over W.S. Neal. UMS-Wright will face Rico Stallworth and Escambia County this week.

Alex Taylor
Junior Wide Receiver/Defensive Back
6-3, 190 pounds
West Limestone

Taylor rushed for 220 yards on 12 touches. He scored three touchdowns of 46, 59, and 80 yards en-route to the 46-24 win over Ardmore.
