Xavier Crews Talks Camp Visits

Xavier Crews is one of a handful of division-one prospects from Eufaula, (Ala.), and he updates ScoutSouth.com with the latest developments in his recruitment.

"I went to Memphis last week, and I had a lot of fun. I liked the coaches, the campus, the facilities and the city," Xavier Crews reported.

"All the coaches showed me a lot of hospitality up there, and I had a good camp. I run my forty yard dash in 4.41 seconds; my shuttle time was 4.10; my broad jump was 9-8, and I had a 34.5 vertical."

"The coaches said they weren't going to offer anyone at my position until this fall. They said they would be watching me, and they were going to stay in touch with me this fall."

"I went to camp at Georgia Tech earlier. It was pretty good as far as the school. I think I did well at Georgia Tech."

Crews tells us Georgia Tech, Memphis, Princeton, JSU and Alabama State are the schools staying in contact at this time. He is in no hurry to make a decision and is looking forward to a big senior season.

"We have 10 starters returning on both sides of the ball, so we're expecting to be better than we were last season," Crews stated.
