ScoutSouth.com: Bibb County at Williamson
Bibb County (6-4, 4-3) and head coach Darryl Burns heavily rely on the offense to get it done week in and week out. The offense scores over 37 points per game. Stacy leads this offense, carrying them on the ground behind the big offensive line led by seniors Ben Jones (Georgia commitment) and Jeffrey Cox.
Jones and Cox also lead the defensive line on a defense that allows almost 27 points per game, but holds when they need to.
Double-threat quarterback Brandon Smith leads a Lions offense that is not too bad itself. Williamson (7-3, 7-0) scores close to 34 points per game.
Coach Bobby Parrish knows to keep it in the hands of his star quarterback and let him do all the work. Smith is definitely a threat to run and pass.
The key to this game for Bibb County is to contain Smith and not give up the big play. The Choctaws need to grind it out and let Stacy wear down the Lion defense. As for Williamson, let Smith loose on offense and play solid defense.
