Marcel Dareus Updates the Latest

ScoutSouth.com caught up with Marcel Dareus just after he finished a high school basketball game Monday night. We asked the talented lineman if a leader had emerged in his recruitment after his trip to North Carolina last weekend. The Scout.com four-star prospect tells us the latest news.

"No, I don't have a clear leader right now," Marcel Dareus stated. "We enjoyed our visit to North Carolina. It was real nice."

"We (Demerius and Marcel Dareus) got to talk to coach John Blake, coach Butch Davis and all the other coaches while we were there. We really liked the coaches and the visit. We liked it a lot."

"We got to know some of the players like Marvin Austin and others, and they were all real nice. We got to go to the basketball game, and that was great. It was very exciting. I wished North Carolina could have pulled it out at the end, but it was a good game."

Brothers Marcel and Demerius Dareus will visit Auburn and Arkansas over the next two weeks, and possibly one other campus. The brothers will likely make a decision on NSD.

ScoutSouth.com will continue to bring you the latest information concerning the Dareus brothers from Huffman High-Magnet in Birmingham, (Ala.).
