Kendall Houston has yet to receive any offers early on in his recruitment but has been receiving letters from several schools, including six schools in the SEC.
"I received letters from Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, Auburn and Florida," Kendall Houston said.
Houston has no favorites to this point, but did tell ScoutSouth.com he attended two Crimson Tide home games last fall against Tennessee and Arkansas, as well as the Iron Bowl down on the Plains.
Houston has visited Junior Day at Auburn and Mississippi State. He said he really liked both schools, and they had good programs. The 5-9 203-pound running back is attending Southern Mississippi's Junior Day this Saturday and also plans to attend LSU's Junior Day.
Houston said one factor that will affect his decision is the closeness to home.
Houston rushed for over 1,200 yards on 145 carries during his junior season racking up 15 touchdowns for the Vigor Wolves.
Houston spoke of his strengths and areas for improvement at running back.
"I have good vision and speed, too," he said, "I need to improve my cutbacks."
