Carney Back from Jr. Day

Taylor Carney is a 6-2, 240-pound defensive end prospect from Brooks High School in Killen, (Ala), and he talks about his recent trip to Ole Miss. He has others showing interest in his services at the next level.

"Recruiting is going well," Taylor Carney. "I recently went to Junior Day at Ole Miss, and I had a great time. I was impressed with Ole Miss."

"The visit went great, I really like the coaches over there. They were very nice, and they treated me real well. I got to take a tour of the facilities, and they were great. I have been to Alabama and Auburn and their facilities are right up there with the best I've seen."

"Ole Miss said they wanted me to come to camp there so they could evaluate me a little further before they made me an offer. I am going there for camp. I'm also going to camps at Mississippi State and UNA. I would also like to camp at Colorado if I can make it out there."

"Ole Miss and Mississippi State are coming to our spring practice to take look at me and Kenyatta Roach."

The Lions begin their spring football practice April 28th.
