Randon Carnathan camping at UAB

The big defensive lineman from Leeds High School was virtually an unknown commodity at the beginning of the summer, but that has changed as Randon Carnathan now holds four offers.

"I still have my offers from South Alabama, Southern Miss, Army, and Arkansas State," Randon Carnathan tells ScoutSouth.com from his home in Leeds, (Ala.).

"I am going to camp at UAB July 19th. Coach Helton and I talk from time-to-time, and he wants me to come up there for their camp. I am looking forward to it," Carnathan stated.

"I am going to Jacksonville State next week to their camp. They have been asking me to come to camp for a while. I'm going to check them out."

While Carnathan is not hearing much from the two in state SEC schools, Southern Miss continues to recruit the talented defensive tackle. In fact, it could possibly lead to the end of Carnathan's recruitment a little early.

"I am thinking about an ending my recruitment early. I do not have a date set for my decision. I will commit when it feels like it is the right time," Carnathan concluded.
