Quinton Dial talks recruiting

If Coach Nick Saban had intentions of beefing up his defensive line, he has done a very good job. Coach Saban added Terrence Cody, or better known these days as ‘Mount Cody,' to go along with 6-1, 305-pound Josh Chapman at nose tackle, and a group of big defensive ends who rotate in and out of games regularly. He now has another huge defender in Quinton Dial.

Quinton Dial comes to Alabama and Coach Nick Saban by way of Clay-Chalkville High School, and he fits in very nicely with the type defensive linemen the Crimson Tide is pursuing. Dial discussed his future, and the teams who are still recruiting him.

ScoutSouth.com caught up to Quinton Dial at his home in Clay, (Ala.).

"I only watched the first quarter of the Alabama/Georgia game," Dial said. "I had to go to work, and I didn't see the rest of it."

"I liked what I saw, they made it look easy."

While Dial has been committed to the University of Alabama since early June, it hasn't stopped other coaches from recruiting the big prospect.

"I am still being recruited by other schools," he stated. "LSU and Florida are always on me."

When ScoutSouth.com asked Dial about his commitment he emphatically stated, "I'm going to Alabama."

End of discussion.

We also took time to asked Dial about his season thus far.

"It's going pretty good. I think I'm doing pretty well," Dial concluded.
