Coach Jere Adcock of Decatur tallied his 100th victory in style with a 28-26 win over Florence. Adcock has a 100-48 record as the caoch of the Red Raiders. Current Auburn defensive back and former Decatur standout Jerraud Powers was on hand for the milestone.

Satsuma 3-5, (2-3)
The Gators faced region opponent Baldwin County last week when the 6A team made a miraculous comeback.
The Gators were down 27-20 with less than a minute remaining. Baxter completed a six-yard touchdown pass to Daniel Manning with 47 seconds left in the game. The successful and tying extra point was waived off after a penalty, and the second attempt was blocked, leaving the game at a 27-26 deficit.
The Gators onside kick was successful, but soon came fourth and three from Baldwin County's 25-yard line. Baxter threw up a prayer in the end zone pass, and Boasten came down with it for the go-ahead touchdown with four seconds remaining. The Gators were successful with their two-point conversion to win the game 34-27. Satsuma is 3-5 (2-3) on the season, and they will face Fairhope 4-4 (2-3) this week on the road.
Baxter completed 24-of-36 pass attempts for 319 yards, five touchdowns adding the two-point conversion.
Boasten had nine receptions for 206 yards and three touchdowns (75, 17 yards) including the 25-yard game winner. He had five solo tackles with three assists on defense. The senior accounted for a quarterback hurry and one interception.

Moss carried the ball 19 times for 154 yards and two touchdowns in their 26-20 victory over Ashford. The senior added four tackles and one quarterback hurry on defense. For the season, Moss stands at 988 yards rushing with 12 touchdowns.
Johnson, in just his sophomore season, has 74 tackles and six sacks on the year. He recorded 10 tackles last week, forced a fumble and scored a quarterback sack.
Alabama Christian will travel to Bullock County 1-5 (1-5) this week.

6A Blount 4-4 (3-3)
Marsh graded out at 93-percent in the 40-7 win over Baker. He had three pancake blocks in the victory.
Davidson completed eight of 11 pass attempts for 276 yards and four touchdowns. He carried the ball twice for 41 yards.
Evans had two tackles for a loss among his 10 tackles on defense. He also added a quarterback sack. The Auburn commitment had four carries for 86 yards on offense.
Blount faces Williamson 5-3 (4-2) this week on the road.
5-10, 190 pounds
Senior Running Back
4A Bibb County 7-1 (5-1)
The Vanderbilt verbal commitment rushed for 301 yards on 30 carries in the 35-22 win over a tough Jemison team. Stacy scored four touchdowns (30, 4, 55, and 1 yards).
Bibb County hosts Greensboro 6-2 (4-2) this week.
5-11, 185 pounds

6-1, 210 pounds
6A Opelika 7-1 (6-0)
Grant rushed for 111 yards on 16 carries against Smiths Station in a 35-7 win. The junior scored two touchdowns. He also caught three passes for 12 yards and made big play runs of 19, 20 and 18 yards for the Bulldogs.
Johnson led the Bulldog defense in shutting down Smiths Station's offense with nine tackles.
Opelika will face their biggest region rival this week when they travel to Auburn 8-0 (6-0) for Coach Spence McCracken's last regular season game.
5-10, 185 pounds
Senior Wide Reciver/Defensive Back
5A Greenville 5-3 (3-2)
The South Alabama commitment had a great game in his team's loss to Demopolis 47-41 last week. He had five catches for 88 yards and two touchdowns. He had five carries for 101 yards and returned a kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown. He added two tackles, three assists and recovered a fumble on defense.
Greenville will host a resurgent Chilton County 3-5 (3-2) who has won three in a row.
6-4, 210 pounds
6A Daphne 5-3 (4-1)
Cooper is one of the big quarterbacks in the state and has really come on for the Trojans. He completed 15-of-20 pass attempts in their 41-14 win over Fairhope. He threw four touchdown passes and rushed for 46 yards on nine carries.
Daphne will travel this week to Robertsdale 2-6 (0-6).

5-10, 250 pounds
Senior Running Back
6A Theodore 6-2 (5-1)
Mosley had 14 total tackles in the 31-14 win over Williamson. Ten of those tackles were solo with one causing a seven-yard loss. He also had a sack for seven yards, recovered a fumble and returned an interception 30 yards.
McCreary rushed for 148 yards on 20 carries with two touchdowns. The senior has 19 touchdowns this season.
Theodore will host Alma Bryant 3-5 (2-4) this week.
5-9, 185 pounds

6-1, 175 pounds

5A Central Tuscaloosa 7-0 (6-0)
Edwards had two receptions for 126 yards and a touchdown. He made five tackles and two pass breakups in the 23-16 win over region opponent Parker.
Merriweather had 58 yards receiving on two catches with one touchdown. He recorded seven tackles, an interception and caused a fumble on defense.
Central Tuscaloosa will travel this week to play Woodlawn 2-4 (2-4).
5-11, 190 pounds
5A Fairfield 6-2 (5-1)
Hagler scored the game-winning touchdown from three yards out with only 22 seconds remaining in the 32-27 victory over McAdory. He completed 14-of-21 pass attempts for 199 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for 62 yards on 11 carries with the game-winning touchdown.
Fairfield will host 4A Dora 2-6 (2-4) this week before taking on undefeated 4A Midfield the following week.
5-7, 180 pounds

6A Decatur 6-2 (5-2)
Coach Adcock wasn't the only one hitting the 100 mark last week. Coffey rushed for 202 yards and scored four touchdowns on runs of 17, 5, 1, and 71 yards.
Decatur will host Grissom 2-6 (1-6) in a Thursday night matchup.
6-3, 220 pounds
4A North Jackson 7-1 (6-0)
Patrick had 17 tackles including eight solos in the Chiefs 27-14 win over Plainview.
North Jackson will host Fairview 6-2 (4-2) this week.
Antavio Smith, 5-9, 180-pound junior running back, 6A Gadsden City had 14 carries for 92 yards and a touchdown in a win over Hewitt-Trussville.
Dan Springs, 5-10, 215-pound junior linebacker, 6A Gadsden City had 11 solo tackles with three assists in the win.
Jamal Woodyard, 5-10, 192-pound junior running back, 6A Fairhope, had 23 rushes for 107 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught five passes for 152 yards in the loss to Daphne.
Drew Phillips, 6-1, 190-pounds junior running back, 5A Boaz, had 183 yards rushing and scored two touchdowns from the first three offensive plays on 68 and 65 yard runs. He set a single season rushing mark with 1,588 yards in the 38-7 win over Arab.
Jamar Carter, 5-8, 170 pound senior running back, 6A Robertsdale had 426 all-pupose yards in a 51-14 win over 5A Monroe County. He rushed for 287 yards on 15 carries, caught two passes for 66 yards and returned a kickoff 73 yards for a touchdown. He had touchdown runs of 61, 5, 25 and 72 yards.
Brandon Hart, 5-11, 190 pound senior running back, 6A Enterprise rushed for 194 yards on 12 carries for two touchdowns of 4 and 23 yards in a win over Dothan.
