ScoutSouth.com: Brian Taylor

Brian Taylor is a 6-3, 210-pound safety/wide receiver at Demopolis High School, and he is receiving interest from all the area schools. Taylor holds an offer and expects more to soon follow.

"I have had the offer from UAB since last summer," Brian Taylor told ScoutSouth.com from his home in Demopolis, (Ala.).

"I took an unofficial visit to UAB when they played Marshall, and I enjoyed it while I was there. I talked to all the coaches last summer at their camp, and I like them. Coach Will Friend is my recruiting coach."

"I think Troy is pretty interested in me. They have my senior film, and they told me they were going to evaluate me again because they don't know if they want me to play defense, or offense," Taylor noted. "Coach Randy Butler is recruiting me for Troy."

"Things were going good with Auburn, until they got rid of their staff. Coach James Willis and I had a good relationship, but I don't know who my recruiting coach will be with the new staff. The new staff has sent me a letter, but they don't know who will be recruiting my area, yet."

"Marshall has been sending me letters and information for a year, and they finally came by the school yesterday. Coach Mike Cummings picked up my senior film and said they would get back with me very soon."

Samford University has also been talking to me a lot. They got my film. They want to come by for an in home visit, but we don't have it set up yet," Taylor explained.

"JSU is also looking at me. They came by the school and got my film so they could evaluate my senior season."

Taylor talked more of his senior season.

"We started slow, but I think I played as well as anybody in the nation the second half of the season," a confident Taylor stated.

Taylor does not have any official visits set at this time, and he says his recruitment is, "wide open."
