ScoutSouth.com: Greg Brown

Greg Brown is a talented athlete for Satsuma High School, and he is still receiving interest from several schools around the area.

Greg Brown rushed for just more than 600 yards in only six games this season due to a deep thigh bruise that sidelined him for most of the second half of the year.

"We didn't think it was going to be a big problem in the beginning, but it turned into a problem," he said. "The doctors were afraid I would have blood clots because so much blood came to the surface or something like that. I just know it kept me off the field."

"I play basketball, and I am just now getting back to the point where I can play, so it was a big problem," Greg Brown told ScoutSouth.com from his home in Satsuma, (Ala.).

"I have been hearing from The Citadel pretty often. They came by my school two weeks ago, and they were telling me they still wanted me to play defense for them."

"Arkansas State called the field house the other day, but I wasn't there and didn't get a chance to talk to them. I'm waiting to hear from them again."

"I took a visit to Alabama State back in November (4th), and I enjoyed it. I saw the facilities while I was there, and it was pretty straight."

Brown reports he doesn't have any offers at the present, but he is "looking forward to his first in the near future."
