Drew Forrest put up huge numbers in the Bearcats spread-offense with Tyler Caldwell delivering the ball to receivers all over the field. Drew's specialty is catching the ball in traffic, and the 6-2, 190-pound wide receiver has caught the eye of college recruiters around the area.

"I am receiving some interest from Louisville. They have sent me several letters and questionnaires," Forrest told from his home in Cullman, Ala.

Louisville isn't the only school paying attention to the talented playmaker.

"I am also receiving some interest from UAB, Middle Tennessee, and Alabama," he stated. asked Forrest about his strengths, and the areas he needs to improve.

"I think I have good hands, and I catch the ball in traffic well. I also run good, crisp routes. I think I need to work on hard press coverage. I usually get off press coverage pretty well, but I think it is an area I can improve. I also need to improve on my deep routes," he noted.

The Bearcats made it to the semifinal round of Alabama's class 5A state playoff in 2007 as well. Forrest talked about his junior season.

"I think I had a good season, and I believe I contributed to our teams' success on the field. I'm happy the coaching staff believed in me enough to give me the opportunity to be a part of our season," he stated.

"Tyler Caldwell did a great job running our spread offense. Our offense gives players a lot of opportunities to make plays, and Tyler got the ball to a lot of different people. Overall I feel like we had a good season, but we would liked to have made it one step further to the Super Six."
