Brandon Gottfried

Brandon Gottfried appeared on track for a big summer in 2008, until he suffered an injury at an Ole Miss camp which kept him out of the rotation for the entire summer. Gottfried has completely recovered from those injuries, and he is looking forward to his senior season.

"I have been hearing from UCLA, Ole Miss, Alabama, Harvard, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Kentucky and Boston College," Brandon Gottfried told from his home in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

"I don't have any favorites, but I like UCLA, Ole Miss, Alabama and Harvard right now. I like Harvard just for the prestige that comes along with the education."

Gottfried finished his junior season with more than 800 yards receiving, 18 touchdowns and 44 catches. The 6-5, 210-pound receiver is looking forward to attending camps and combines this spring and summer.

"I have been working out trying to get ready for the camps and any combine I might get invited to. I plan to camp at Alabama, Ole Miss and UCLA. Stanford has also began showing interest in me, and I might consider a trip out there. I'm not sure," he stated.

"I haven't been to any junior days other than Alabama's. I have just been working out and preparing for the camps I will attend," Gottfried concluded.
