Zach Underwood starting to gain momentum

Zach Underwood is a 6-4, 270-pound center from Albertville Ala., and he is starting to see his recruitment take shape. Underwood has a new school in the mix this week, and he hopes it will lead to other schools taking notice of his abilities.

"I had previously heard from Vanderbilt, but it was just a short letter. This week they invited me to their spring game to have a look around campus, and to meet with the coaches. I am looking forward to that," Zach Underwood said.

"Georgia Tech called Coach Reese today. They told him they received my film, and they liked what they saw. They told Coach Reese they would be getting back in touch with him soon."

"We were on spring break last week, so I'm not sure if anyone tried to call while we were out, but North Dakota State keeps calling. The last I heard from UNC they liked my film as well," Underwood noted.

"I'm not sure what is going to happen, but I'm glad to finally have some schools showing some interest in me. I hope to get invited to some combines and some camps over the summer. I would like to see where I fit in with the better prospects in the state, and beyond," Underwood said in closing.
