Jonathan Robertson

Jonathan Robertson helped lead the Bearcats to the semi-final round of the Alabama Class 5A state playoffs in each of the last two seasons. Coaches from around the region have been visiting Cullman, Ala. to take a look at the big defensive lineman.

"I don't have any offers right now, but I just registered with the NCAA Clearinghouse last week. I will take my ACT in June," Jonathan Robertson noted.

"I have had coaches come by spring practice. They all seem to like me, but it hasn't turned into an offer, yet."

"Alabama's coach Sal Sunseri came by practice and talked to Coach Britton about me. He told me they liked me, and they wanted me to come down for a visit so they could take another look at me. I went to Alabama's camp last year and talked to a lot of the coaches while I was there."

"Coach Markuson (Ole Miss) also came by. He said Ole Miss liked me a lot, and that I would know if I was getting an offer from them in the next couple of weeks."

"Coach Spangler (Louisiana Tech) came by. He said I should hear from them in the next few weeks."

"Coach Ron Cooper (LSU) came by the school and talked to me. He told me LSU really liked me a lot, and they want me to come to Baton Rouge for an official visit as soon as I can get out there."

"They seem like they really want to see me and they are probably recruiting me the hardest of any of the schools right now."

"I do not have any camps to go to right now. I am going to wait a little while to see which teams are interested in me the most before I make any decisions on camps I attend."

The Bearcats finished spring practice early this year.

"I think practice went real well," he said. "I think we accomplished a lot, but I also know we have a long way to go to get to where we want to be."
