Tuscaloosa County defeated Gadsden City 13-9 Friday night at home.

Tuscaloosa County Head Coach Lee Gibson on the way the team played and strength, "They've [the team] got a lot of speed on this side of the ball. We're not very big, but we're big in the heart."

Running back Damien Minor who rushed for more than 100 yards said, "As a team, we stepped out as a team coming down there on the 4th quarter. We really picked it up. We did good as a team."

Gadsden City Head Coach Joe Billingsley on the outcome of the game, "They had a chance to capitalize on some of their mistakes and we didn't do that. I was proud of how hard they hung in there. There was plenty of opportunity to give up in the first half, but as far as their effort, I'm proud of them. I was really, really proud of the character we showed tonight."

On the things which need improving, "We have a young QB. He's just trying to get his feet settled."
