Intro: Finesse Middleton

Finesse Middleton, 6-foot-1, 253-pound defensive end from Gadsden (Ala.) City, is entering his sophomore season with intentions of being a young star on the gridiron. Middleton attended the South Showcase Combine May 2nd at Gadsden City High School.

"I really liked it," Finesse Middleton said of the South Showcase Combine event. "I learned that I was able to standout against the older guys, and I only got beat once."

Middleton pinpointed his strong points.

"My strengths are getting to missed blocks quick, being fast off the line and my good hands," he said.

Finesse has specific targets for this season.

"I want to get 14 sacks and four forced fumbles," he commented.

Middleton has multiple camps to visit this summer and many ways to aid his team this season.

"I am going to the Tuscaloosa Nike camp and the Ultimate 100 camp in Atlanta," he said. "I can help by working hard on my conditioning and staying eligible."

Middleton is ready to be recognized this season.

"I am going to stand out by, beating my opponents and never slowing down." he implied.

Outside of football, Middleton stays pretty busy and maintains focus in the classroom as well.

"I play baseball and basketball for the school when I am not playing football," he explained. "And I hang out with friends. I have a 3.2 GPA, and I have only missed three to four days this year."

Middleton gave more insight about some early favorites.

Miami: "I like their speed, and they play like a family."

Alabama: "They have great power and everyone on the defense sticks together."

Georgia:- "They rotate the players on the defense, and it is a all-around good school."
Florida: "I like their speed on defense, and they are a winning team."

Texas: "They are strong all-around, and they can easily disguise."

Ole Miss: "They are another strong team, and they are strong up front."

USC: "They have a good defensive line, and the secondary is always helping the line."
