Page screwed THEMSELVES by not petitioning down to D-5 like EVERY other Rez school. Their CLOSEST section game was either going to be Winslow or Kingman, so their assignment was basically a coin flip! Competitively, they would be better off playing the Kingman schools, Mohave, and Parker as opposed to the White Mountain schools, however.
Quit complaining! NDP gets two guaranteed Section wins a year (Flag and Coco), plus Mingus is nowhere near what they used to be back in 4A-II days.
And NDP could have avoided making CHARTER BUS trips up North by petitioning up to D-2...just saying.
Quit complaining? I think this is the perfect scenario to complain about. Two northern schools (Prescott and Bradshaw Mountain) are in one section with four Phoenix schools while three other northern schools (Mingus, Flagstaff, and Coconino) are in a different section with three other Phoenix schools. Wouldn't a quick glimpse at these placements draw a, "That doesn't seem right!" from SOMEBODY at the AIA? Wouldn't it make way more sense to group the Prescott schools in with the other northern schools (the way it's been for the majority of the AIA's existence) than lump half the northern schools in one Phoenix section and the other half in another Phoenix section? That's not even really complaining, it's pointing out a blatantly obvious screwup in their placements.
