I use to feel sorry for these officials but now I am seeing things different!. Perfect example was last night at the Hamilton/ Centennial game, as a neutral at the game it was sickening the calls that officials were making.. Granted kids need to respect their elders but age isn't always an excuse for complete ignorance. The governing bodies of these high school boards might need to step up the requirements for officials or penalized them for repeated bad calls. Just my thoughts

The PI flags that were thrown from the back judge, when the side judge was in front of the play and argued with the back judge about. Also the lack of PI flags when it was clear that the defender was disrupting the receiver a chance to catch the ball, blocks in the back, multiple holding class and unsportmanlike calls. I don't know if you watched the game on tv but I was one of the crazies that decided to make the drive and not stay in the comfort of my own home, but definitely a different ball game in person. did you see any of this?

Not necessarily a bad thing. I did see quite a bit of holding but it was on both sides of the ball. I did see Centennial OL "High-Low" Hamilton's DT 2 or 3 times and were not called. Centennial's QB got laid out late & wasn't called but the refs had one thing going for them, Consistency.
I did see some but on the one PI call Gomez never looked back and ran straight into the receiver i rewinded and he hit him way before the ball got there. I saw quite a few holds on both teams that were not called. If you happened to record the game they might be better angles than what you saw at the game. I think this was one of the better games i've seen officiated this year.
